Location of the hotel is excellent, near all the parks, restaurants etc on I Drive. Friendly welcoming atmosphere and staff very helpful and welcoming. The service at the bar is a little slow due to only one person serving and having to serve tables food also. Drinks are expensive. We had breakfast once and it was ok. Service was nice and friendly. Rooms… on entering the room we were really disappointed. Dark with a damp smell. In need of renovation. If we were staying at the hotel during the day for longer we would have complained. Old, tired furniture, walls had damp marks and looking very tired and worn. However as we were using the room as a base we decided it was ok. Had the very basics but wouldn’t want to spend any more time other than a place to sleep. There are some rooms being renovated that look nice, ours I feel was poor for the price we paid. The pool facilities were good, outdoor pool was nice and heated. The lobby is nice, bright and welcoming. It’s a shame our room wasn’t the same. The shuttle buses are great. Easy to book, in time and a choice of times to go and return. We stayed during a fairly quiet time for the majority so during the week the hotel was quiet and noise was minimal. However at the weekends it can get a little louder but generally not last 10pm. Unfortunately on our last night we were kept awake by some very noisy guests until 230am running up and down the corridor, but this can happen anywhere you go! Overall for the location and the pool facilities we can’t complain. If I was to return I would want to be in a newly renovated room.
