The hotel

Not only does CoCo Key offer great family rooms with plenty of space in the heart of Orlando, it boasts it's own water park too — one of the best in the area! With 14 slides, three heated pools and a state-of-the-art gaming arcade, kids of all ages can play to their hearts content all day, every day. You're also just a hop and a skip away from a myriad of Orlando attractions (including the theme parks), so there's never a dull moment! And although restaurants abound (you can walk to over 50 restaurants and shops), The Tradewinds Restaurant on-site is a great place to dine, feasting on deep south favourites, followed by amazing dessert selections. A daily entertainment program means the kids will be making friends in no time, including movies screened by the pool and interesting activities that are hosted by the hotel staff. Look for the hotel mascot CoCo in the morning and afternoon for photo opportunities.

391 rooms. All with air-conditioning, 37" flat-screen TV, telephone, WiFi (included in the resort fee), mini-fridge, coffee maker, safe, hairdryer, iron and board. Standard Rooms with 1 king-size bed and queen-size sleeper sofa or 2 double/queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff, very clean and with great access to International drive & surrounding theme parks, what is not to like? Oh and did I mention that this hotel has the best pool slides of any we have seen, our 10 year old was very, very happy here

We got to the Resort very late as we had some car issues on our way but the overnight staff were very kind and courteous. The staff member in the morning at check out (Julissa) was very kind and considerate of the rough night we had. The grounds were well kept for being an older, less updated hotel/Resort. Our room was very clean and had good amenities (mini fridge, plenty of towels, comfy beds and pillows, good air conditioning, and dark blinds. The pools were very clean and well maintained. The water park is so unique and wonderful. There is a lot of good shaded coverage in the kiddie area and one of the pools. The larger water park slides area is not covered but very well kept and guarded. The Life guards were terrific at keeping everyone safe without being overly intrusive. The water park staff were very kind and courteous as well. My daughter and I had a fantastic time and will definitely be returning for a longer stay next time. Great location. Hotel is spotlessly clean. Great pool area and waterpark. Staff very helpful. Great stay. Plenty of amenities close by with good value restaurants in close proximity. A few Irish pubs nearby. Good value Hotel. Would recommend if you're visiting the theme parks.

And there was a lot of discrepancies with information, like in the paper given at check in, it says 10 and under is free for the breakfast buffet, but the signage says 12. The papers say 3rd day for full housekeeping, but signage in the bathroom says 4th day. Nothing major with that. Read less
