Great Place to Base our Vacation

No shuttle to Sea World, but an Uber ride to Sea World was only ~ $10 each way and cheaper than parking there. Tons of restaurants and other attractions such as Ripley's and Wonder Works are not far from the hotel, so we found it was a convenient base of operations for us. We had a rental car since we were driving to Venice during our trip, and parking was $35 a night at the hotel. Breakfast is available at the hotel for extra charge, but there are several Denny's, IHOPs, and other places nearby as well. We were pleased with our stay, and returned for one more night toward the end of our trip.

Stayed here with family in 2 family rooms. When we arrived late evening we had no bedding in either room for sofa bed. Informed reception as we went to get a meal and on return beds weren't made the bedding was simply left in a big ball of warm sheets and pillows, un-ironed and clearly straight ftom tumble dryer. Then found beds not made or room serviced for 6 of 14 nights during stay meaning no clean towels or toilet rolls. Thus meaning repeatedly going to reception asking for towels and toilet rolls. When these appeared it was random, 2 bath mats, I towels or multiple face cloths, all we wanted was 2 bath towels and bat mat ! Approached by lady at pool asking about stay so told her and she asked me to place a Google review and she'd sort issues. I didn't, neither did she ! As no room serviced cleaning was hit and miss, only me and granddaughter in room but still needed a quick dust/hoover. Super huge bed and very comfy although bedding wasn't changed in 14 nights. Shower great, plenty hot water. Aircon was great but sadly had a mind of its own meaning getting up in night to switch off occasionally. Lovely coffee machine but once pods used not replenished despite asking forcing use of coffee shop downstairs. Great pool with towels provided but intermittent bar and shop opening meant not always able to get a drink. Lifts often in shorts supply, only 2 worked for 14/15 floors. Overall a lovely hotel with some lovely touches but seem short of staff. I would stay there again once these issues are sorted out.

Esther is hands down the best bartender and the best human on the planet. I asked her to marry me, but she said our friendship was more important.
Nice Hotel

The hotel is nice. Although it has been recently renovated, it needs updating. I always look for hotels with glass showers and laminate flooring due to allergies. The pictures online showed that this hotel had glass showers for multiple room types, however, they only have glass showers for king suites which was a disappointment. The carpet in the rooms needs to be removed. The pool, and gaming area are a delightful addition, and the employees (Mya, the gentleman managing the food truck and all staff members) were so accommodating, exceptional and extremely helpful. Our stay was comfortable and satisfactory.

I’ve stayed at Hotel Landy several times and usually had a pleasant experience, but during my most recent visit, I noticed a clear drop in room quality. There was an ironing board but no iron, coffee capsules but no coffee machine. The carpet was visibly dirty, and the closet area where the air conditioning unit is located had a concerning buildup of dust and scattered trash.
The room felt only partially prepared, which was disappointing for a returning guest.
That said, I want to highlight the excellent service from the staff—always friendly and helpful, especially at the front desk. I hope the hotel can address these cleanliness and maintenance issues, as Hotel Landy has the potential to offer a much better overall experience with just a bit more attention to detail.
