We had the most incredible stay at The Ritz-Carlton Orlando, and it could not have been a more perfect place to celebrate my birthday, Valentine’s Day, and our anniversary all in one special trip.
From the moment we arrived, everything felt seamless and thoughtful. Our room was ready early, and Stephen at check-in took amazing care of us. He warmly acknowledged our celebrations. Walking into our room was such a wow moment. It was beautifully decorated with thoughtful touches, and the view of the lake was absolutely gorgeous. Sydney from guest relations is truly dedicated to serving her guests and was lovely, enlivening many Ritz-Carlton service values.
The rooms are comfortable, clean, luxurious, and well-equipped. The mattress and bedding were outstanding. The turndown service Ladies & Gentlemen did a wonderful job as well.
We made the most of the resort and loved having access to the neighboring facilities with the games, waterslide, and lazy river. Lunch at Knife Burger was delicious, and in the evening we toasted to each other on our balcony while watching a stunning sunset over the golf course. It was one of those simple but unforgettable moments.
We also stopped for drinks in the lobby lounge, which was spectacular. We both work in the food and beverage industry and can be a bit particular, especially my mixologist boyfriend, but everything exceeded expectations. The cocktails were top-tier.
The spa was another highlight. Our massages were incredibly relaxing, and Kelsey at the spa front desk was so kind and welcoming.
In the morning, we grabbed coffee from the café and then explored more of the property. There is truly so much to do. We used the complimentary bikes and rode along the trail, which was scenic, fun, and just the right amount of challenge. We even spotted an alligator in the distance in one of the lakes. Other activities available we took advantage of: air hockey, foosball, ping pong, large chess, pool, and bouchée ball.
Poolside service was fantastic as well. Cody, the pool attendant, was attentive and friendly, and Ni Kadek set up our chairs with a smile 😊.
Overall, this was an amazing staycation and such a meaningful way to celebrate. The property itself is beautiful, but the Ladies and Gentlemen are what truly make it special. I came here many times growing up, and it was so special to return 13 years later and create new memories.
We are already looking forward to coming back again….who needs to go to Disney when you are staying at this hotel?
