Stayed here last year and we are heading back on 2nd June with some of our grandchildren. Can't fault this hotel and it's wonderful staff. Everywhere is clean and well presented. Really looking forward to returning as we know the grandkids and us will have a great time there.

This is the worst place I’ve stayed in Orlando after more than 12 years of both business and vacation trips. There’s a big conference tomorrow and there is no hot water. But there was absolutely no communication about this even when we stopped at the concierge desk to ask a question on our way back up to our room. When we called down to ask about this they said it is a known issue and maintenance was working on it for at least an hour but we got no estimate of when it would be back. We asked for compensation. Customer relations said there would be none. Transferred me to front desk who said same thing and I said that was unacceptable especially given the lack of no communication where they couldn’t even tell us at the desk or print off a piece of paper to put in the elevator to notify guests. The front desk worker gave me attitude and used the wrong pronouns and just said I’d have to talk to someone tomorrow. They also refused to give me information about the manager on duty or their name so I knew who to reference in the morning. I went downstairs to talk to the manager about this and get more information about the hot water. I did not get an apology or more information. Instead, they said their front desk worker felt my tone was “threatening” on the phone and that is why I didn’t get any more information. I told them to please listen to the recording and that this is the hospitality industry and that if they think I’m threatening that they need some retraining. In addition to this absurdity, the Everglades restaurant is overpriced with horrible food and the bar service was not great either. We had to wait eons for our check. Just stay anywhere else even if you have a conference here. Disney-quality service this is absolutely not. Read less

The Rosen Centre Hotel in Orlando offers a solid venue for conferences and professional events. The conference facilities are spacious, well-maintained, and conveniently located for both local and out-of-town attendees. The hotel's proximity to the Orange County Convention Center and popular attractions makes it a prime spot for business and leisure alike. That said, a few details could enhance the overall guest experience. The dining options, while adequate, feel somewhat dated in terms of variety and innovation—especially for those staying multiple days or seeking healthier, more contemporary meals. Additionally, a simple amenity like a complimentary small bottle of water in the room upon check-in would go a long way, particularly in the Florida heat. Overall, the Rosen Centre excels in location and functionality, making it a reliable choice for meetings and conferences. A few modern touches and thoughtful amenities would make the guest experience even better. Read less

First and foremost this is a business/convention type hotel, it is not a touristy type hotel, there is a pool (no slides), spa (no idea if it’s any good or not), a couple of shops and a few eateries. It is also located at the wrong side of international drive for the bars and restaurants, to get to the pointe or icon park it’s a 25 minute walk, not a show stopper for us but could be for some people. Disney parks around 20 minutes away via uber and universal parks a similar time (traffic dependant). Restaurants local to this hotel are McDonald’s, Denny’s and Red Lobster. There is a supermarket next door which is 2 minute walk. Whilst we were there the hotel was rammed with shouty kids competing in a dance competition and then the second week, more shouty kids from some DECA convention? Whilst our stay was acceptable, when we come back to Florida we won’t be staying here again. The room was fine, beds comfy, fridge in room, amenities all fine, however the TV was hit and miss with the signal. Other reviews had me worried about cockroaches, they are disgusting things however we didn’t have any pest issues, we were on the 20th floor in room 2050. Staff were hit and miss, most of them came across as miserable and some rude (coffee shop). I think they were called Tanya and Phillip in the breakfast buffet, they were welcoming. All in all, we had a good holiday but as I say I wouldn’t return to the Rosen Centre Hotel, again as I say it wasn’t bad but location for me is the show stopper for when we return back to Florida. We arrived earlier than the 3 pm check-in time but the staff would not let us check in because the rooms were not ready. My husband went to his meeting and at 2:30 when they finally allowed check in, I was not allowed to check in. The hotel needed to see my husband. All other hotels allow us to check in earlier than 3 pm and then notify us when room is ready. Had this hotel let us check in and stored our luggage, I would not have had to wait till my husband’s meeting finished to check in. I would not be looking to book here again. Read less
