Well, the verdict is officially in......YES, This Rosen Inn was perfect for my needs, great rate, great room, great pool area, friendly staff and another great location. YES, The rooms are a dated, but maintained better than some newer resorts i have stayed at. It is 100% obvious, the Rosen Hotel Chain knows what they are doing in the hospitality industry. This location is within walking distance to many, many restaurants, shops, etc. They also provide Free Parking and NO bogus resort fees. This hotel is a terrific value. I am Looking forward to trying another Rosen Inn in the Future or staying here again The.Bottom Line is this location is perfect for your Orlando/Disney vacation.... Arrived 18:00 and had already left by 06:00 the following morning after alternative accommodation had been sourced elsewhere. In brief, the hotel is disgusting. I did my due diligence before hand however remained open minded until we got into the room. Room had a really strong and pungent damp smell. Although the bed sheets appeared clean, the bed(s) were damp and the mattresses completely shot. Mould in the bathroom and as for the carpet, whatever you do, don’t take your footwear off. Room furniture was tatty and likewise smelt strongly of damp and very dirty. More than 1 of us have also got several bites on us! Communal hotel areas were as tatty as the room, and likewise the carpets everywhere where life expired about 20 years ago. Communal furniture in lobby was shabby and dirty. For U.K visitors, my default standard for comparison is Premier Inn. This hotel was nowhere near a U.K Premier Inn standard. Please avoid under all circumstances. For reference I’ve not even asked for a refund as we couldn’t get out quick enough. Read less

The hotel was extremely dated, the room had a strong musty smell, and cleanliness was clearly lacking. I didn’t feel comfortable enough to take off my shoes and ended up sleeping in my clothes. While the staff was friendly, that’s really the only positive I can share. Had I known what to expect, I wouldn’t have booked even for a short overnight stay. I absolutely would not return. Read less

Lots of restaurants/bars all around but our favourite was Joes Crab Shack, outstanding seafood. We used Uber to get around although there was free transport to all Universal parks, usually cost us $6 + tip to Universal Studios and IOA and $9 +tip to Epic Universe. We used Uber to get us back to Orlando International Airport, cost $31 + tip. We have stayed here before and will stay again as it is a great base for Universal and there is an I-Trolley stop directly outside the hotel for the I-Trolley, red line. There is a bar (open Thursday - Sunday) and a great restaurant - you can order food to your table whilst in the bar. Can highly recommend the sushi. Read less

State for a business trip and this hotel was the worst experience ever! There was back water coming up through the sink and tub. The beds are tiny only fit for one person. We had to leave and book an airbnb. I don't know why anyone chooses hotels when there are so many nice airbnbs!
