The hotel

The Rosen Inn International is situated in the heart of International Drive, the main entertainment centre in Orlando, so it's in a great location to explore the shops, bars and restaurants that line this popular road. It's also ridiculously easy to find, as it's next to the world's largest McDonalds! On top of that, it is just a 5 minute drive to Universal Orlando Resort™ with all those fantastic roller coasters, special effects and 3D rides. Full-on buffet breakfasts and dinners are served in the hotel's Fountain View Restaurant, and they have some very special discounts, exclusively for you. There's also a Lite Bite Deli for a snack on the run. The rooms have a modern and fresh new look whilst keeping that much needed comfort at the end of the day. Including a fridge, microwave and coffee maker, you can store your own refreshing cold drinks and make snacks for hungry kids! There are two swimming pools just waiting for you to leap into after a hard day exploring the theme parks.

728 rooms on 6 floors in 2 buildings with 5 lifts (plus 2 buildings on 2 floors with no lifts). Standard Rooms have 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 5 adults or 2 adults and 3 children, with rollaway bed*.

On arrival not really the welcome I expected ( always thought America was a friendly customer service experience) was given a map with a cross where our room was ( used to being shown but gather as a budget place this service is not offered. Room is dark brown wood and looks dated. 1 armchair with worn fabric and no table? Would have expected a table as it is a self contained accommodation. Microwave fridge and coffee machine. Comfy double beds and changed daily along with fresh towels Restaurant was the best thing about this place. Food good quality and very reasonable price. Serving staff and chef you are a credit to the Rosen Inn. 2 pools with towels provided by the end of our stay both were open. So many lizards on the paths so please be careful as you walk. Reception staff were 50/50 on customer service a few were so polite friendly and lots of smiles where others especially the male never smiled and looked totally uninterested. Great safe luggage room shame when we handed our keys in we never got a “thanks for your stay or have you enjoyed your stay here” just basic politeness. Location great for trolley bus and Universal studios (45 min walk to Universal) also a free shuttle from hotel. Disney shuttle is chargeable QR code on reception to book. Run by fabulous buses but unreliable service does sometimes not turn up ( commented by quite a few holidaymakers) Read less

Both times I have stayed (January and April 2025) my time at this hotel was absolutely phenomenal. The rooms were absolutely stunning. The bed was tremendous and very comfortable. If it weren't for the fact that now I'm able to stay at my girlfriend's family house, I would choose this hotel again for the next time I'm down in Orlando. I would highly recommend for those people looking for not only a good time, but a very good deal on rooms, especially last minute. The breakfast buffet is awful but luckily there are plenty of alternatives within walking distance. I’ve stayed in all of the Rosens along international drive and this one has let the brand down. Great location but that’s about it. Bad points, the internet is terrible, no information in the room, the front line staff don’t seem interested. Good points are, comfortable beds, great central location and a large car park. I wouldn’t stay here again and would opt for the other alternatives on i drive. Read less

After staying previously at the Rosen Inn Lake Buena Vista Location which was a very good choice, i decided to try this location on International drive to see if i would get the same great service, room & decent rates. Well, the verdict is in...YES, This Rosen Inn was perfect for my needs, great rate, great room,great pool area, friendly staff and a great location. The rooms are a dated, but maintained better than some newer resorts. It is obvious the Rosen Hotel Chain knows what they are doing. This location is within walking distance to many, many restaurants,shops, etc. The world's largest McDonalds is basically right out their front door/parking lot. They also provide Free Parking and NO bogus resort fees. This hotel is a great value.Looking forward to trying another Rosen Inn in the Future or staying here again.Bottom Line is this location is perfect for your Orlando/Disney vacation.... Yes the hotel is quite dated but it's great value. We stayed on the ground floor facing one of the pools nearest the entrance on I-Drive. The room was huge with 2 double beds. We normally leave both our children in the one of the beds but the hotel offered us an extra pull out single which fitted in the room with ease. The room was spotlessly cleaned everyday and the staff were lovely. There's plenty of storage, a safe, fridge, microwave and coffee pod machine. The grounds and the pools were also spotless. Very convenient location on I-Drive with a short walk to Icon Park and plenty of food and shopping options nearby. 20-30 mins to Disney and 10 mins to Universal. We essentially used this as a base for the parks and at this price would stay again. Read less
