We had an amazing stay at Sheraton Vistana Villages and will definitely be returning! This is a beautiful resort that’s perfect for both relaxation and family fun. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and well-equipped—same for the entire property, which was very well maintained. The pools were resort-style and top-notch, with something for everyone, whether you just want to lounge or enjoy some water activities. Honestly, we didn’t feel the need to leave the property unless it was to experience the parks or try new restaurants in Orlando. The resort itself has everything you need—from dining options to entertainment right on site. We hosted our family reunion here, and it couldn’t have been a better choice. There were activities for all ages, which made it easy for everyone to enjoy themselves, from kids to grandparents. All in all, Sheraton Vistana Villages delivered a fantastic experience—clean, fun, convenient, and family-friendly. Highly recommend! Read less

Don’t come here if you expect to have your room ready at check-in. Family members are owners of timeshares here and EVERY YEAR the rooms are not ready for HOURS after 4pm check-in time. But you bet the cleaners are outside the rooms at 9:00am circling like vultures expecting you out by 10:00am checkout. We complained to the staff and they didn’t seem to really care. They were more focused on trying to get us into a timeshare update meeting so they can try to sell us more stuff. It was so disrespectful even after we repeatedly said no. They kept pushing it. Why should I buy more timeshares with you when you can’t even fulfill the ones that are already paid for? After raising our voices we suddenly were able to get into rooms (funny how that works). The manager there we were arguing with admitted to us that they prioritize RENTERS over owners because they see them as prospective clients. Pretty terrible policy! The rooms are fine - ours were not updated yet and really need to be as they were older and the furniture was worn down. One of our two doors was broken and maintenance insisted they fixed it (they did not) and the garbage room door wouldn’t open and nobody fixed it so garbage just piled up outside of it. The pool is nice for kids - no complaints there. If you’re going to come here, don’t get sucked into their timeshare scam. Rent rooms like a regular hotel. You’ll save a ton of money even after factoring in additional costs like parking . Only other nonsense is the WiFi. Don’t come here and expect to do any work or even scroll on Facebook well - the WiFi is so slow, you’d think it was the early 2000s. Our family wants to gift us the timeshare but I’d rather be punched in the face. Why should I pay exuberant maintenance fees when I could just rent, save money and be treated with more respect? Do better Sheraton. Read less

Absolutely terrible management. Was given a different room (smaller) than I booked. We just went with it since we just wanted to get settled in. On our second full day they had a water main break and had no water to the complex for extended periods of time. When the water was finally turned back on that evening we still had no hot water. The next morning we finally had hot water to shower but then soon had no water again. At around 4pm when I asked the front desk when the water would be back they said it was just turned on, supposedly during the time I walked to the front from my room. I decided to inform the front desk at this time that I was given the wrong room type. I told them I wasn’t looking to change rooms I just wanted the difference in the price credited back. The front desk person got a supervisor .They said they gave me the correct room. I showed them my confirmation that listed the room type to the exact letter as the room listing on their website and they said since I booked through a 3rd party it wasn’t their issue. I then asked, along with several other guest that were not happy, what they were doing to compensate for the water issue. The supervisor took down everyone’s names and phone number and said we would be contacted by the next morning with compensation info. The next morning at checkout I asked what the compensation was. The front desk person got the customer relations manager and he was absolutely useless. He said that he would do nothing for the water being down. He said it wasn’t there fault so there policy is to not compensate. I explained that he had a supervisor telling dozens of guest the evening before that they would be compensated in some way. I can only imagine how the rest of the day went with all the other guests that were promised compensation. Read less

This is by far the worst Marriott (Sheraton Vistana) we've stayed at. As Marriott owners and Bonvoy Titanium Elite members, we've experienced many locations and this is BY FAR THE WORST. It started at check-in when our 2BR suite wasn't ready until 8pm and went downhill from there. The worst was the large blood stain on the comforter. Only to discover there was blood on the pullout sofa as well. There is ZERO housekeeping during an entire week stay (you have to pay extra and it doesn't matter if you're an owner). When they offer to do a "deep clean," they arrive with a tiny cart and minimal supplies. The coffee pot was broken. The remotes didn't work (batteries dead). There were cockroaches running around the room. There aren't basic kitchen items (pot holders, cookie sheets, pans, etc) if you want to cook and only utensils/dishes for four (we had a 2BR suite). The staff are constantly trying to get you to attend a presentation and offer owner "discounts" but then scam you out of being able to use them. The staff said the freezers have been broken in the market "for weeks" (so no ice cream to purchase) and you have to sign receipts with a pencil because they don't even have pens. When you check out, they make you wait in a long line for a "departure gift" only to try and sell you another vacation package to return & are upset when you decline. Oh yeah, your gift? A shutterfly card and you pay the shipping. You can get this on shutterfly's website - another joke. And if you want your checkout folio, you are sent to another line for that. And don't have any packages delivered. We had an envelope mailed to us and it was a $10 "handling charge." Don't try to use the shuttle - it doesn't come. Don't try to give feedback. Management blames their staff. Clearly this is not a staff issue. This is a management/Sheraton Vistana issue. While in line to check out, other owners were sharing similar experiences. They said any of the other Marriott locations in Florida are better than this one (specifically mentioned Harbour). Common theme: DO NOT STAY AT THIS LOCATION. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. You'll spend your vacation/family time waiting for a new mattress to be delivered so your kids aren't sleeping on blood and trying to escalate concerns to "management" who doesn't care and chooses to blame their staff instead of addressing the core issues. And they don't care. Will never come back here again!! I would give zero stars but am forces to give at least 1 star. Don't stay here! Read less
