Mattress are a bit to hard but in general the apartment was great very comfortable and quiet the pool are was great in general it was very close to the attractions and all the great restaurants in the area I was very clean and well maintained great vacation

Please note that this review applies only to Apartment 203 in Building 4001 at Vista Cay, which is managed by Tropical Villas Property Management LLC. We’ve stayed at Vista Cay before and had a great experience, so we were shocked by the condition of this particular apartment. Vista Cay itself is a wonderful resort with great amenities — this issue is specific to this individual unit and management company. The apartment was filthy, mouldy, and in a serious state of disrepair, making it a potential health hazard. Our photos (included here) show severe and longstanding issues with cleanliness and maintenance: • Widespread mould in both bedrooms, likely due to water damage • A loose, unsafe electrical socket • What appeared to be dried blood on a baseboard • Heavily soiled, mouldy and foul-smelling bath mats (which appear to be the same ones shown in the original listing photos when they were new) • Faeces or urine stains on a bathroom wall by the toilet / toilet brush • Heavy dust and grime throughout, the internal property and a filth balcony where the furniture was also missing cushions These problems clearly reflect long-term neglect, not just a lapse in cleaning before our arrival. No amount of in-stay cleaning could have addressed the extent of the issues — the apartment needs a full deep clean and possibly renovation. We weren’t aware that hygiene issues needed to be reported within 72 hours to seek relocation or refund, and as we were on a packed holiday schedule, we didn’t escalate quickly enough. That said, the condition of the apartment speaks for itself and the hosts shouldn’t be using this as an excuse. We are considering reporting this to Orange County Code Enforcement due to the severity of the health and safety concerns. Unless the host can prove all these issues have been properly addressed, we strongly recommend avoiding this apartment. If you have already booked, I strongly suggest you cancel and rebook something else. They don’t deserve your hard-earned money. Read less

I hated this place sooo much. I am the biggest germaphobe and this was a huge trigger. Usually some hotels won’t give me a huge ick but this took the cake. It was sooo smelly, the shower had soap scum, grout whatever you want to call it. Just dirty from waking in the front door to the building. I really hate to bash but I was ready to go as soon… Read more

This place is fab. The three bed apartments are really big and are self catering which is great. Everything you need. Only downside is the noise. Very Bougie! Loved the spacious unit. Very clean and a great place to relax. The area was great! Filled with plenty of places to explore and find great entertainment. We celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary and had such a special time with our family.
