This sprawling resort, bordering Animal Kingdom at Walt Disney World Resort, offers so many amenities and activities that you never actually have to set foot off the resort to have fun! Enjoy 54 holes of challenging golf, 3 video game arcades, a family-fun centre, and 3 fitness centres. There is also a 12-acre waterpark with unique water features, water slide, swimming pools, and a 1,200ft lazy river-style pool, plus spa tubs. Although each apartment features a fully-equipped kitchen, there's absolutely no need to cook if you don't want to, with a choice of 8 restaurants quite literally on your doorstep! For delicious fare from Key West, head to Breezes in the West Village. There's also grilled specialties at River Island Grilling Company, and casual fare at the Anchors. 2-Bedroom Apartments cater comfortably for up to 8 and 3-Bedroom Apartments can accommodate 12. You'll feel so at home, you may never want to leave.

Several employees lied to us about numerous issues. And when confronted their superiors also lied. They also had fees for everything in the resort except the pool.

Best Family Resort Exchange you can find. Huge resort with beautiful landscaping and abundant wildlife. Pools, Golf Courses, Activities, Restaurants.

Just returned a few days ago from a 1-week stay in a 3-bedroom villa in the East Village. Overall, a good stay. Some good and some bad things about the condo. Good - large condo, plenty of large bedrooms, great layout and great patio. Bad - ours was very, very dated (not a remodeled one). It had old, chipped laminate counter tops, chipped floor tiles, and horrible bathrooms. The shower head had so much built up mineral deposits, it spit out like 3 tiny streams of water among the 25 holes. You could barely shower. Our towel rack also pulled out of the wall leaving no where to hang wet towels. The TV is like a 30 inch old tv that practically sits on the floor, but I guess we weren't really there to watch TV , so whatever. There were also no blackout shades on the bedrooms - just regular blinds, so it was tough for my 1-year old granddaughter to nap. Worst part - one of the smoke detectors started going off non-stop at 2:00 in the morning! We pulled the battery out and wrapped it in a towel and hid it in one of the kitchen cupboards to not hear it. It was 19 years old!! Both my husband and son are Fire Fighters (of all things) and said smoke detectors are only good for 10 years so this one was probably not even compliant. There were plenty of others in the room, though, so no worries. The resort is super large and easy to get lost in. But we love to golf so that was awesome. Very nice pools. Talk about WAY OVERPRICED amenities/restaurants, though. Watch out. Cost $75 each to rent clubs (not counting the $100 each greens fees), you have to pay to rent inner tubes for the lazy river (seriously???), standard sandwiches at the snack bar are like $17, just really too expensive to enjoy the resort much. Overall, honestly, more expensive than Disney itself. The best possible location, though, to Disney, off property restaurants, shopping, etc. This part can't be beat. Overall, we'd stay again but would insist on a remodeled room, bring our own gold clubs, and eat offsite, for sure.
