We booked to stay here for 2-weeks. During the 1st week of the trip (House #2614): I requested a “refresh/touch-up” from Housekeeping (because there was no vacuum in the vacation home for me to use myself, there was only a broom), the carpets on the stairs and in all of upstairs bedrooms looked very dirty, worn down, and the carpet was affecting my asthma. I was told by “Onie” at Reception that it could take a “few days” for the request for the carpets to be vacuumed to be processed however a Housekeeping Staff member did come and vacuum upstairs for us that same evening. During the 1st week, we also experienced 2 leaks from the 2nd floor Primary Washroom’s shower down through the ceiling and into the Living Room/Dining Room area. Both times we had to use all of the white bathroom towels provided by the Resort in order to soak up all of the massive amounts of water spreading across the floor. We were then expected to wash all of these towels ourselves [because the vacation homes are supposed to be self-managed by the Guest during their stay], and the Resort only provides you with 1 packet of laundry detergent in their Starter Kit. NOTE: Housekeeping did bring more towels for us after the circumstances were explained to them. The 1st house we were assigned was not very clean (dusty couch cushions, dusty drapery in the living room, dirty looking carpets, LOTS & LOTS of cobwebbing in the higher ceiling areas, evidence of old leak stains on the ceiling between the dining room/living room, older kitchen cabinets, an older model dishwasher (small capacity). Week 2, (House #2625) we were moved into a more renovated vacation home that (thankfully) had no carpet in it. The only immediate complaint was the fact that the jets in the hot tub didn’t work and were not fixed by a Technician until day 3 of being in the 2nd assigned vacation home. Trash removal: You are expected to empty all of your own garbage bins in the Vacation home, there is no daily/weekly Housekeeping services, they have a small plastic bench for waste outside/in front of each of the Vacation homes where a small amount of tied up bags can be placed & are then emptied by the Resort staff around 4pm each day or you can take your trash to a larger trash compactor located on the property. You are only provided with only 1 clear plastic garbage bag in the Starter Kit in the kitchen and then you’re expected to go out and buy more garbage bags for the remainder of your resort stay. Parking: There is ample parking (for free) outside of your vacation home. Read less

We reserved a home privately. Excellent resort. Well maintained and nice pool and bar area. Great location for Old Town and surrounding area. Really handy having places within walking distance. It makes a change from having to drive everywhere

My family and I, along with my parents reserved a four (4) bedroom, three (3) bathroom townhome with Regal Oaks Resort Vacation Townhomes. I conducted much research through YouTube, online reviews, and of course Regal Oaks Resort website, along with photos that were available of the complex. I know nothing is perfect, and not everyone will be satisfied so there will be some negative feedback on anything. Based on my research I felt this would be the best choice for my family and parents, and that’s about where it ended. The check in process was fairly easy and simple, and the front staff was nice. We were assigned a townhome and once inside the townhome got warm and hot. I lowered the thermostat to 70 and we began to unpack. While unpacking we noticed none of the bedrooms had dresser drawers, cabinets, or anything to place or clothes in. While unpacking the townhome was getting even hotter and the temperature got to seventy-eight (78) degrees. I called the front desk and maintenance responded. Turns out it appeared to have a bad line. I responded to the front desk and asked if another townhome was available, they advised there was so then we had to pack everything back up and move to another townhome. Luckily, this townhome had dresser drawers where we could put our clothes in. Once unpacked for a second time we discovered the master bathroom toilet was not working and was clogged. I had to call again to the front desk and maintenance responded and unclogged the toilet. The floors and kitchen counters were dirty and we also found hairs in the bathtub. This was not our originally assigned unit but they put us into a unit that had obviously not been cleaned. This was all on day one. The next day we were discovering and began to think that our new townhome had never been cleaned from top to bottom, and worn and torn furniture. The townhome had not been mopped, dusted, sanitized, well maintained, etc., but it showed as available which is why we were given that townhome. There were several what I believed to be ghost ants crawling all over the stove and kitchen counters, there were cracks and holes in the caulking which is here I think they were coming from, the stove was like a ceramic stove top which was set in place creating a small gap between the stove and the kitchen counter, I could see food crumbs underneath it. The kitchen blinds had stains on them, the floors had not been swept or mopped, there were cobwebs in the corners in some parts of the stairs. Even some of the electrical outlets were loose, and/or exposed, I could move one back and forth (I was just curious why the outlet cover was crooked) which is how I discovered it. We did not use the placemats and when I moved them SEVERAL ghost ants began coming out from underneath them. I rolled up all of the placemats and placed them in a trash bag, and I began to kills the ants with a napkin. As I was rolling up the placemats food crumbs were coming out of them. I wiped down the section where the placemats were and it was covered in dirt and food crumbs (I placed all of the placemats in a trash bag). The day before we left a different toilet got clogged and I called the front desk, and no one from maintenance came to unclog it. The photos on their website is NOT what is portrayed in person. It is the complete opposite. There is a video on YouTube of this place titled, “2025 Regal Oaks Resort Tour and Review: Orlando’s BEST Kept Kept Secret” by @NikkyJThemeParkHipster, which is the video I saw and everything looked immaculate. What I didn’t see was if I clicked on the description it states the following: “Are you looking for a place to unwind after a long day at the Orlando theme parks? That’s what you’ll get when you vacation at Regal Oaks Resort (formerly known as CLC Regal Oaks). It’s one of Orlando’s best kept secrets tucked nicely away from all of the commotion, yet only a 5 mile drive to the magical gates of Walt Disney World. Here you’ll get to choose from 2,3, and 4-bedroom townhomes that range between 1,350 to 1,850 square feet! On this Florida resort travel guide, I will over everything you need to know when choosing to stay here and that includes: *Ambiance *Location/Address *Parking *Amenities *Rooms *Dining *Local Attractions *My Final Review Before I give you all of the details, I have to let you know that I was invited out by Regal Oaks Resort to enjoy their offerings in exchange for a blog post review. As always, my thoughts and opinions are my own and I have vacationed here before using my own money. Now, let’s get started on your relaxing journey to Regal Oaks Resort!” She was invited by Regal Oaks Resort to enjoy their offerings in exchange for a blog post review. My family along with my parents will NEVER stay here again. We have been to the Orlando area many times and this by far was the worst place we have stayed. My wife told this to the front desk and all they could say was they were sorry. To me that translates to, “sorry” but nothing will be done to rectify these issues for any customer(s) that stays there. I do not blame the front desk, I blame management and corporate because this falls on them. This is my first time doing a review and if I can attach photos I will . I will also attach photos that are from their website that shows everything very nice, clean, and pristine. I am sure I will get if I’m lucky some sort of generic corporate response along the lines of, “we are sorry to hear about your stay, we will share your concerns with staff, employee's, management” etc. which means nothing to me.
