The hotel

The Marriott Village is a wonderful combination of 3 quality hotels in 1 resort, giving you the benefit of facilities at all 3 hotels for 1 great price! Each hotel gives you a different experience, with the Fairfield Inn providing a quality stay for those looking for great value. And If somebody was to offer you a hotel that provides complimentary breakfast and is just 3 minutes drive from Walt Disney World, with a complimentary shuttle to drop you to the door, it would sound too good to be true. It’s not – it’s here! The bunk beds in the family suites will be a hit with the kids, as will the games room and outdoor pool for those moments when you’re not out exploring in the parks. The superb dining and entertainment choices of Disney Springs are only minutes away, and it’s not just great for Disney, you're close to all the attractions on International Drive and a short hop from the Orlando outlets.

This is my first post on Trip Advisor. I would usually ignore the inconvenience; however, I have been staying at The Marriott Village in Lake Buena Vista the past 13 years for a business conference. I always book my room about five months in advance. For the past two years I have booked my room (at the Courtyard) and shuffled off to another hotel as they claim they have no rooms. Price Majeure? NEVER AGAIN. Last year, I was shuffled to a hotel with cold showers. This year, I was shuffled off to this hotel with a broken faucet and very little in the way of amenities such as the basics, like water, or snacks. Sounds petty, maybe, but it would be nice to have something to drink in FLORIDA! I would also like to add that when I complained to the hotel I received a very nice CANNED response without being able to reply. Read less

I really don’t know how this property gets 4 stars. I’m very easygoing and typically not picky of hotels at all, but this one felt like an old run down motel 6. Our bathroom reminded me of the ones you see at campgrounds; there was rust all over the lamps; dirty steps on the bunk beds which only had sheets as bedding; the breakfast was the same… Read more

Our bathroom reminded me of the ones you see at campgrounds; there was rust all over the lamps; dirty steps on the bunk beds which only had sheets as bedding; the breakfast was the same eggs and sausage the entire time we were there (4 days); front desk was slow; the playground was half broken with caution tape… go somewhere else more magical for your Disney trip.. trust me it will be worth it! You book a Marriott hotel, and you expect a certain standard - the Marriott standard. Unfortunately, there were too many little things that just wasn't. Check-in, we are offered compped car parking, we flew in from UK to stay for 3 weeks, we didn't have a car - great. Had to ask for the $5 rebate card, used a buy a drink or in the food court. Room was a little dated, but fine until aircon unit soaked the carpet all the way to the bed. Reported to reception in the morning nothing done by the time we returned in the evening. Re-reported and had a visit from maintenence who informed us that we should have reported first thing....err, really! Maintenence issues especially with lifts and air con throughout the entire hotel led to reception staff trying to find any cool spot on one day. Inexperienced reception staff on alone one evening with around 6 groups of guests waiting for attention. The guy couldn't deal with one couple and therefore guests waiting just got fed up and left...have staff to support at least. On check in confusion about resort rate payable and security deposit. 95% of the issues were resolved but it is a shame that they happened in the first place. The resort is in a great location for Disney but having stayed at the Holiday Inn LBV my preference would be for that hotel at a similar rate $ Read less
Image of the Tripadvisor rating It's close to Epcot and restaurants, but better options nearby...

The room was okay, but it lacked USB charging plugs, which are a must. The mini refrigerator froze our soft drinks and water. There was an issue at check-in confirming the rate I received online. After 10 minutes, I got one ($40) less than quoted at the desk from Marriott's website. The location is good, with lots of restaurant options nearby.… Read more

After 10 minutes, I got one ($40) less than quoted at the desk from Marriott's website. The location is good, with lots of restaurant options nearby. Epcot is only about 10 minutes away without traffic, so it's a great location. My complaint is that parking should NOT be charged at $25/night plus tax on top of the $150 room charge and tax for a total of $192 for only one night for an older Fairfield Inn. They also missed my feather pillow request from my profile and had some small, old/tired foam pillows on the bed. I called the desk and they sent up two nice feather pillows after we were already in bed. There were some large groups (3 buses) of high school students who were all at the buffet breakfast at the same time as us, which was a challenge. My points didn't show up in my Marriott online account and no record of my trip either, which is strange, because it's on my credit card. We will try another property when we return to Disney soon... Image of the Tripadvisor rating Group sales - lack of response

Feb 26, 2025 Angela T

Have left multiple messages for group sales. We have 109 rooms booked for check in tomorrow and I need a response. Who can support? Terrible service to date. You need a rooming list as well as a credit card auth from me. This is a hotel that was assigned from a housing service.
