“Wanted To Love This Hotel”

My husband and I stayed for 5 nights (Jan. 14-19). This was to celebrate my birthday and being 10 years cancer free. I knew that the hotel held conferences, but it wasn't until we checked in, that we found out, there were multiple conferences, happening. I'm a Diamond member and thought I would be placed in the main tower. We were originally placed on the 7th floor of the atrium area of the main building. This area was extremely loud. The floor was filled will all conference goers, who were ready for happy hour. After a full day of travel and just wanting a quiet room, I went back to the front desk to ask for a quieter room. Desiree was amazing. She saw how upset I was and was able to move us to the Island Building. The Island Building, itself, is very quiet, however, the room we were in, faced the main road and Disney Springs. We could hear the music from Disney Springs, until 11:00pm. It was tough, but what was worse, was hearing the trash truck backing up and banging the trash bins at 5:00am, 6:00am and 7:00am. I recieved a text from Noah, to see how our stay was. I stated the issues. He was able to move us a 3rd time to the main tower. This is where we should've been originally placed. We were located on the 18th floor, with views of the pool. We were also given a $100 hotel credit. We were supposed to get a bottle of wine, but that never showed up. My main objective was to celebrate with my husband, but also to relax. For us, this hotel was just too busy for what we were looking for. I will give kudos to Desiree and Noah for trying to rectify room locations. Transportation to the parks, is a plus. You will need to make a reservation.

Great location and service. Helpful staff including Lidianna. Restaurants were limited but good. Access to Disney Springs and Disney World were a plus!
