Misinformation providing by the reception staff & valet staff

I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience regarding valet parking during a conference at this hotel. I was misinformed by the valet staff, who assured me the conference’s discounted parking rate would apply to valet service. Based on this assurance, I handed over my car in the morning. However, when I went inside to pay, I was charged the full $54 valet price. I was told the discount only applied to self-parking even though this was not stated anywhere on the receipt provided by the conference not valid for velet service, nor was it communicated by the valet staff. Adding to the confusion, the previous day, I was able to use the same discounted receipt for valet parking without issue. It’s clear there is a lack of communication and coordination among the hotel staff, which led to inconsistent service and misinformation. All I ask is that the hotel provide accurate and consistent information to customers especially when people are attending events and relying on guidance from your team. A very very disappointing experience from an JW Marriott Orlando Bonnet Creek Resort & Spa. Please train your reception staff to ensure better communication and consistency going forward. and please please ask your staff to avoid that fake greetings and smiles. I recently stayed at this Marriott for 7 nights during my daughter’s dance competition, and unfortunately, it was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Upon arrival, I noticed the bathroom sink water was cloudy and gray, and the tap water was scalding hot — unsafe and unusable for my toddler. I reported the issue immediately to the front desk, and while they did send someone to check it, nothing was fixed. Instead, the staff member simply handed me a case of bottled water, which I had to use for the entire week just to safely bathe my daughter. I had to manually mix the bottled water with the hot tap water just to get it lukewarm enough for her. This is unacceptable for a hotel of this standard. Despite reporting the issue multiple times, no alternative room was offered, and I was essentially forced to stay because we were there for my daughter’s event. I spoke with the manager, who admitted the water looked cloudy but claimed it was “normal.” A call from Marriott’s claims department followed, but since there were no physical injuries, they said they couldn’t proceed with any resolution and simply apologized. I expected better from Marriott — much better. This was a clear safety concern, especially for families traveling with young children, and the response was completely inadequate.
