To sum up what is bound to be a very long review, the Marriott Orlando World Center continues to reign as one of the best venues for both Conference and Leisure Travel in the Disney World Area, especially if you are a fan of Marriott Properties. A "world" within itself, you will find countless amazing options to keep you entertained whether traveling for work or pleasure -- a truly amazing place to stay!
I must admit, the Marriott Orlando World Center is and always has been a favorite, and over the last nine (9) years, throughout numerous stays, this beautiful Resort continues to impress on each and every stay!

Honestly, with everything that I have said about this truly AMAZING property over the years, it is hard to think of much else to add, but I wanted to provide an updated review for everyone.
So, with that in mind -- what else can I say about the Marriott Orlando World Center?
I think the biggest thing to highlight about this wonderful Resort is its perfect location. As I have said many times over, the Marriott Orlando World Center is right in the heart of it all -- when staying here, you are just a quick ride-share away from all that Central Florida has to offer, including Disney World, Universal & Sea World.
A quick example of how close you are to everything:
-Disney Springs - just under 5-mi
-Magic Kingdom - just under 7-mi
-Sea World - just under 7-mi
-Universal Orlando - just over 10-mi
Now, obviously, travel times will vary due to Orlando's "Famous" Theme Park Traffic, but you could not be in a more central location to all that Orlando has to offer. Additionally, you are only about 16-mi from the Orlando International Airport, so getting to and from the property could not be easier. Such a perfect central location will allow this to be your new "home base" for an entire Orlando Vacation!
One huge benefit to this property is that the Marriott Orlando World Center offers Complimentary Transportation to all of the Disney Theme Parks and Disney Springs as part of its Resort Fee Inclusions. So, while you could very easily use ride-share, you can also sign-up for park transportation using the property's comfortable bus. Note, you do have to make advance reservations via either the Hotel Concierge or an easy-to-access website (via a QR Code on your Daily Resort Guide), but such reservations were never hard to come by.
And yes, I did say that the Transportation was included in the "Resort Fee" at the Marriott Orlando World Center. I know many do not like such fees, but honestly, good luck trying to avoid them in Orlando -- essentially every place that is any place in Orlando is going to charge this fee. But, unlike many other properties, your Resort Fee at the Marriott Orlando World Center goes a long way!
Currently, the Resort Fee at the Marriott Orlando World Center remains $47/day and it includes all of the following:
-Enhanced in-room wireless internet for up to 6 devices
-Daily admission to River Falls Water Park for up to 4 guests
-Daily scheduled shuttle service to Disney Parks for up to 4 guests
-Nightly scheduled shuttle service to Disney Springs for up to 4 guests
Now, if you think that is steep, for reference, in peak ride-share "surge" periods (meaning, the times you would want to get to or return from any of the parks) fares to the parks can be anywhere between $15-$20 each way; so, your Resort Fee easily covers what you might otherwise pay for a ride-share.
Additionally, the "enhanced" WiFi truly was wonderful -- often, properties will charge you more to be able to have Streaming Speeds, but not at the Marriott Orlando World Center. I did a quick Speed-Test during this stay, and speeds were well in excess of 35-45mbps each time. We had zero issues Streaming our favorites shows each evening, and I was able to conduct numerous Teams Meetings throughout the day without issue. This one fact truly set the Marriott Orlando World Center apart from many other properties, as it allows for one to truly remain connected and productive through a stay, whether it be for work or leisure.
And yes, as many people have commented, this property is home to a MASSIVE Conference Center, and thus, it does a lot of Convention Business. But, don't let that frighten you as this beautiful Resort Property is set up so that if some of your party does have to attend a Work Event, the rest of you can truly find your own slice of paradise in all that this "world" within itself has to offer! While the property does boast one of the largest Conference Facilities in the Area, you will find that this is off-set and distinct, with one end of the property housing the Conference Area and the other offering a great deal of opportunities to both dine and relax.
If your group wants to have a great time relaxing poolside or at a water park, without all of the cost and chaos of a Disney or Universal Water Park, the Marriott Orlando World Center truly has you covered as this property boasts a truly amazing pool complex! First, for ultimate relaxation, you will find the property's original pool complex, "Falls Main Pool." This large grotto-style pool offers beautiful waterfalls and ample seating, as well as excellent poolside service from the "Falls Pool Bar & Grill." Additionally, it offers a fun water-slide tower with multiple slides. But, if you want more than just relaxation and you want a poolside adventure, you have access to "River Falls," which is the property's on-site Water Park. "River Falls" features a relaxing lazy river and three absolutely AMAZING large water slides that could rival those found at any theme-park's water park! And, for the ultimate in poolside luxury, the Marriott Orlando World Center offers numerous wonderful cabanas and premium poolside seating, bookable in advance and at a reasonable cost.
And, in addition to all that this "world" has to offer you for recreation and relaxation, I would be remiss if I did not quickly mention the top-notch accommodations that you will find at the Marriott Orlando World Center! You will find that all rooms at the Marriott Orlando World Center are modern and spacious, and are exactly on par with that at any Marriott-flagged property world-wide. And, a great feature in Florida's humid environment is that each room at this property features hard-surface flooring in lieu of the dark and dirty carpets one finds at many hotels in the area. Additionally, unlike many properties in the area, all rooms offer ample electrical outlets -- both regular sockets and USB ports. Beds are always very comfortable with newer mattresses and plush bedding, and each room is equipped with a large-screen smart television, featuring Marriott's traditional access to streaming services and on-demand features. Finally, the absolute best feature of most rooms at the Marriott Orlando World Center are large balconies that offer beautiful and expansive views of the property. And, while you have multiple View Options when booking a room at the Marriott Orlando World Center, I always suggest that you spend the extra to book a pool view, which will allow you to see the property's always-fun evening pool laser-light show (and, from some rooms, you may even get lucky enough to see Theme Park Fireworks!).
For this stay, we splurged and booked a larger Suite, the "Three Bay Suite," which was located on the Pool Side. It provided plenty of space to spread out and work throughout the week, as well as some truly AMAZING fireworks views each night. This property offers several different types of Suites, and if you want to pamper yourself, don't miss out and look into Suites for your next stay at the Marriott Orlando World Center!

Finally, as for Dining at the Marriott Orlando World Center, you will never run out of options, several of which include:
Central Pantry -- a great quick option, offering easy grab-and-go meals and numerous hot and fresh-cooked menu items. Additionally, Central Pantry offers up an assortment of snacks, desserts and beverages -- including beer, wine and liquor -- available to take back to your room. A tip -- during busy times, you can order ahead using mobile dining in the Marriott App, and you will be able to skip the lines and pick up your meal without a wait!
Falls Pool Bar & Grill -- offering great pool views, excellent poolside dining and truly amazing pool bar service!
Latitude & Longitude -- offering an excellent breakfast buffet daily! And Platinum-and-higher Elite Tier Members of the Bonvoy Program have access to the large Continental Section of this Buffet as an Elite Welcome Amenity Option. This Continental Section is always well stocked and will certainly provide enough for breakfast but if you want more, unlike many properties, they offer Platinum-and-higher Bonvoy Members the full buffet for a very reasonable up-charge!
High Velocity Sports Bar -- a great option for food, drink and enjoying the latest game on numerous large-screen televisions!
Mikado Japanese Steakhouse -- a wonderful and unique venue to the Marriott Orlando World Center, a tasty hibachi venue offering some of the best service and staff you will ever find at a hibachi steakhouse!
And last but certainly not least...
Siro Urban Italian Kitchen -- this is honestly one of our favorite dining venues at the property, offering absolutely AMAZING Italian dishes, and a wonderful selection of Italian wine and craft cocktail options!
All-in-all, with such truly wonderful dining options, you will always fine plenty to eat while staying at the Marriott Orlando World Center!
To sum up my yet again lengthy review of this AMAZING property, the Marriott Orlando World Center is truly the perfect option for your next stay in the Orlando Area! It is very centrally located to all that Orlando has to offer, and it provides you with truly stellar service and amenities! Do not miss out, and make sure to book a stay at the Marriott Orlando World Center the next time that your travels bring you to Orlando!!!
