Lovely hotel, friendly staff. Everywhere seemed very clean. A bit pricey, but you are staying right in the heart of universal. Which enables you to take advantage of the lightning passes they include. And reduced parking fees. The room was spacious and had a beautiful modern en suite. I loved the fact you could choose a water taxi to the parks or walk. We did both. The water taxi time wise will probably take you a little longer but it does save you if you’re tired or struggling in the heat. I do have one gripe though. The $9.15 added to our bill for a bottle of water. When you arrive in your room there are 2 bottles of water on the side. You will also have things like , soap bar, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner. There is a coffee machine with, 3 coffee pods and 1 tea. Milk and sugars. If you do not want to be charged these sneaky little charges I suggest NOT drinking the bottles of water. As they are around $8 each . Then they’ll add tax , restocking fee. I’m assuming the shower gel I used for one shower and the toilet paper I used for 2 trips to the bathroom was complimentary! Who knows, I may get another surprise on my account in a day or so. It’s not that it’s a lot of money, more the principal as you’re already paying quite a steep price per night at over $400. I did get a bit of a chuckle out of it though before I actually drank the water. There’s a notice in your room about them trying to be more green . The water is from Fiji 😂😆 . I’m sure there must be premium water a little closer to save on the carbon footprint. Anyway, the lesson has been learned. Enjoy your stay as it is a lovely hotel. Read less

We love the location of the hotel and the staff have always been very friendly and helpful to us. The replacement of the floor tiles was a very minor factor which had no impact on our stay. We head home tomorrow having thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!! Read less

We absolutely loved our time at the Royal Pacific Resort. From the moment we arrived, the staff could not have been more welcoming – genuinely friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. Their warmth made us feel at home straight away. The hotel itself is immaculate and it was clear every effort was made to minimise disruption with the refurbished work which did not impact us at all. Everywhere we went, from the lobby to the rooms to the pool area, everything was spotless and clearly very well looked after. It really added to the sense of calm and relaxation. The amenities are fantastic – the pool area is beautiful and spacious, dining options are varied and delicious, and the express passes for Universal make staying here unbeatable value. The atmosphere throughout the resort is tropical and relaxing, yet you’re only a short walk or boat ride away from the parks. We enjoyed our stay so much that we returned for a second visit, and it was every bit as good as the first. If anything, it reminded us why we chose to come back. Highly recommend Royal Pacific Resort to anyone visiting Orlando – a true five-star experience. Read less

I’ve stayed at this hotel several times before and have always been thrilled. While there were still some highlights, this trip fell short in a number of areas – and for the premium rates charged, these issues really shouldn’t happen. The Disappointments Construction During Peak Season – I understand refurbishments are necessary, but carrying out noisy foyer tile replacement in the height of summer was disruptive. The main restaurant was also closed, which felt poorly timed. Poor Guest Flow – Huge queues at check-in meant that by the time we reached the concierge desk, it had closed (8pm). Arriving at 7:30pm, meant we couldn’t buy park tickets and missed an evening in the parks. Tired Facilities – The hotel is showing wear: chipped paint along corridors, scuffs in lifts, communal toilets needing attention, and overflowing corridor bins that stayed full for two days. The pool loungers were uncomfortable and lacked cushions. Basic Amenities Missing – There’s no café or spot to get a simple cup of coffee within the hotel; the only option was takeaway from the tuk tuk market. Unacceptable for a supposedly top-tier property. Noise at the Pool – Our planned relaxing afternoon was cut short when a DJ arrived and blasted deafening music from 1–4pm. We had to leave. The Highlight The Orchid Court Lounge remains a gem. Special thanks to Giancarlo, whose impeccable service stood out – remembering guests’ preferred drinks after a single visit and crafting exceptional cocktails. His warmth and attention to detail delivered a true 5-star experience. Overall We still enjoyed parts of our stay, but the service gaps, maintenance issues, and poorly timed construction mean we won’t be returning. Read less
