“Good location”

Booked this through our travel agent for our family of 5 due to having suites. The room was okay but small for a suite. Wish it had 2 bathrooms like Disneys suites have. Location was good as there was a Walgreens across the street and some restaurants within walking distance. On site transportation was easy and timely. Check in was easy and since room not ready went straight to parks.

Such a beautiful hotel with friendly staff. Pool area and Surf Bar amazing. On request, We were allocated a very quiet room in Tower 2 on top floor overlooking the Lake which had gorgeous views. I would highly recommend this hotel.

“Relaxing but no WiFi”

We had a lovely experience at surfside, the hotel decor in the lobby and rooms is light, airy and very relaxing. All the staff were friendly and helpful, especially those in Starbucks. The food in the quick service was high quality, fresh and made to order in front of you. Having stayed in hard rock and royal pacific, we preferred surfside by far. The food options are preferable and the overall atmosphere of the hotel is excellent. The only issue we had was WiFi. We had booked two rooms which were a few doors apart, the WiFi did not work in either room. Someone was sent to fix it and could not connect more than one device per room, when you have four people in a room this is not ideal! As the rest of our experience was so lovely we would definitely return again despite this, but if we had stayed longer than two nights this would definitely have been a bigger issue.
