Please note: Room types at this resort can be booked with Resort, Theme Park or Preferred View. Resort view offers obstructed views or views of the parking area. Theme Park View offers views of Magic Kingdom Park. Preferred View offers views of Bay Lake.

Use of the Walt Disney World Resort Transportation System is included in your stay: This hotel has Monorail access from the hotel to both Magic Kingdom park and EPCOT (with one transfer), water transportation to Magic Kingdom park, and bus transportation throughout the resort.

“The Good and the Ugly”

Let’s start with the good. Very close to Magic Kingdom. Park view was excellent for the fireworks and to watch the mono rail. The ugly is the absence of reliable WiFi. Worse WiFi ever for everyone. Fortunately we all had 5G. You would think since we were spending over $1500 per night there would be WiFi

“Excellent stay in a refurbished room”

First time staying at bay lake tower, I picked the hotel as a dvc member using points for the proximity to magic Kingdom. Magic kingdom is only a 10/15 minutes walk from the hotel. The rooms were a lot bigger than expected and the refurbished rooms were modern, clean with lovely artwork that we wanted to take home with us. We had a preferred view room which meant we faced Bay lake. Our room was close to the pool which meant during the day it was very loud. We were disappointed bay lake didn't have any food or drink options aside from the dvc lounge at the top of the building. We had to walk over to the contemporary to fill up our resort mugs. An unexpected bonus of our room location was seeing the electrical water pageant from our balcony each night. I would recommend the hotel if you want to be close to magic Kingdom.

“Very convenient to MK”

My husband and I stayed in Bay Lake Tower years ago and did not enjoy it. My kids asked if we could stay here as they never have. We enjoyed it much more than our first time. We had bay side and it was absolutely beautiful. Walking back to the resort from MK after a late night or running into MK just to get popcorn and walk back was magical. We watched fireworks from the observation deck multiple times with our popcorn. The elevators were a little packed because the second bank was in a construction area. The only negative we really had was that the pool was so hot. It was not even refreshing but the sun comes up that side of the resort so it hits the pool all day. Outside of that, the experience we had this year was wonderful. We would definitely stay here again.
