My wife and I stayed here for part of our honeymoon and enjoyed it but felt the hotel fell a bit short compared to other Disney moderate resorts. The grounds and architecture are beautiful, and the lobby of the new Destino tower is impressive and elegant. We also enjoyed the main pool area with the full-size Mayan pyramid and water slide. The cast members were friendly and helpful, as they are all over Disney World. However, the resort is massive and lacks convenient transportation options to the parks (Caribbean Beach has the skyliner, Port Orleans has a boat to Disney Springs, but Coronado just has the buses). It is also a convention hotel so it was very busy. Lastly, it doesn't have as much of a "Disney feel" as the other resorts. Besides a large mural of Walt Disney in the lobby, it would be easy to forget you are at a Disney hotel. Some might view this as a positive, but when we are on a Disney World vacation we want to feel the Disney vibes. Overall, I enjoyed our stay and would stay here again but would prefer the other moderates. Read less

Had a lovely 3 night stay at Coronado springs resort at Disney World. Perfect choice for this stay in Orlando. Shuttle services provided within the Disney world and one can visit any of the theme parks. Shuttle service provided with no extra cost. The resort guest get extra early hour to start in the morning and one hour late post closure of the theme parks. The resort is very beautiful and has superb amenities to cater to everyone. We loved and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The food court is excellent and real quick stuff ready to eat and dine. There are a few more restaurants but we didn’t try as our kids wanted to try every single menu item from the kids menu at Elcentro. One point of concern - they have concierge and bell desk services but point blank refused to send the luggage to the rooms and asked is to carry our own luggage to the room ., did not offer any buggy service or drop assistance given. This was a big let down considering all kinds of families come small kids to aged grand parents come along with the kids and luggage assistance should be provided to all wanting this service. I traveled with my daughter who just graduated college and a Disney trip was a must to celebrate! We arrived early on a Monday morning and were greeted by super friendly cast members who directed us to Bell services. We were able to drop off our luggage and head to the parks. I received a text later in the day, around 4, that our room was ready. We had requested a ground floor room near a bus stop and we got it! Once we arrived at the hotel, I called Bell services to let them know we were back and our luggage was delivered to our room in less than 10 minutes However, our first night there we had to deal with a little kid in the room above us that wouldn’t stop jumping from the bed and running all over the room around midnight; we couldn’t sleep. I called the front desk to complain and they must’ve called those guests because we didn’t hear anything afterwards- parents: please be considerate of other guests and teach your children to have some manners (Mom of 3 here). The restaurants, bars and gift shop were all great. Paola and Michael at the pool bar were totally the best and super helpful and friendly! This is by no means a 5 star hotel but it’s beautifully taken care of, super clean, close to everything Disney, and we will definitely stay here again! Thank you guys! Read less

--- ## 2-Star Review: Disappointing First Disney Resort Stay at Coronado Springs As first-time Disney resort guests, we were really excited about our stay at Coronado Springs, especially since we booked it directly through the Disney World call center. Unfortunately, our experience fell far short of the magical introduction we were hoping for. Our first impression was a bit misleading. The main hotel building looks quite grand from the outside, but we quickly realized we weren't actually staying there. Instead, we were assigned to one of the **outside ranchos. This was a significant disappointment. We felt a bit deceived, as the pictures and descriptions we saw during booking didn't clearly show these separate buildings. It felt like we booked one thing and got another. The resort's layout also proved to be quite inconvenient. The **main pool area is really far from everything**, including the primary building and our rancho. If you're someone who enjoys a lot of walking within a resort, it might be okay, but if you're looking for a traditional hotel experience with easy access to the pool, this isn't the place. Let's talk about the food. **Breakfast was genuinely horrible.** I'm not exaggerating when I say I think I've had better food at McDonald's. For a Disney resort, this was a surprising and unwelcome discovery. Furthermore, we found Coronado Springs to be **less family-friendly than we expected**. Beyond the pool, there really aren't many activities or features designed for kids. It felt more geared towards adults or conventions than a place for families expecting classic Disney fun. Finally, the **room we got was tiny with just a small window**. For the price we paid, we honestly believe we could have found a much better and nicer room in the **Disney Springs area**. Overall, our first Disney resort experience at Coronado Springs was a significant letdown and not the magical introduction we anticipated. Read less
