We were blessed to stay in the tower at the Coronado Springs. We had a concierge level designation for 3 nights! Our room was very clean and nice. We were right outside of the concierge room entry. That was the only negative. There was NO soundproofing in our room. We heard everyone coming and going and it sounded like they were actually in the room. We once heard our neighbors that sounded like they were in the entry of our room. We could hear every word they were saying - thankfully, once the concierge room closed and the other room went to bed - it was then quiet. Otherwise, the staff were AMAZING, the service was AMAZING - the food choices were great. The best thing for me as an electric vehicle owner I was able to charge my vehicle at the resort (Disney only has 3 resorts with chargers). However, this is also a HUGE convention hotel. We had to wait a long time to get a charger. There are 6 of them and were always full and people were constantly driving around looking for one. We finally got one late in the evening and ran quickly to get to the parking lot to secure it before someone else got there. I think there needs to be more of them OR Disney needs to contract with a company that has rapid chargers. Those charge vehicles in less than 1 hour versus 6-8 hours that they currently have. This location is a convention center so lots of drivers and travelers so more chargers are needed. It is beautiful and we were able to see water and the rest of the resort. Beautiful during the day and more beautiful at night. Read less

Shockingly, the check-in cast member informed me my room was in fact ready. When I walked in, I was immediately impressed with the size of the room/bathroom, the cleanliness of the room and the incredible water view (which was an upgrade or “pixie dust” as Disney fans refer to it. The convenience of the bus transportation to any park, as well as Disney Springs was a very short walk from the lobby exit. Getting back to the room midafternoon, the shower was one of those “rainfall types” which felt great. The comfort of the bed and linens were also top notch. Later in the day, I even received a call from the cast member, to make sure everything was ok. Next time I return to Disney, I definitely will be staying at the Coronado Springs Grand Destino Tower. We stayed here at the end of July. We've stayed at a different Disney resort last time we were in Disney so we wanted to resort to something within budget, but also luxurious. The only way you may feel luxurious is if you stay at Gran Destino Tower or the preferred rooms in the Casitas. This is definitely a place for couples, families with more older kids, and adults. Checking in was easy - you can do it on your phone. Checking out - same thing. We left our bags with bell service after we checked out so we could explore Disney Springs. Everything about the service was great. We chose the standard room so we ended up staying in the Cabanas section. The exterior (outside the room) of the Cabanas section felt very old and almost motel like. Could definitely use more lighting at night. The interiors were fine. The beds were comfy, shower was great, rooms are reasonably sized. Great for a group of 4. Our rooms were one of the closer ones to the Gran Destino Tower so it was convenient. There is less Disney theming for sure compared to other Disney resorts. They have a more corporate field since many do have conventions here, but at the same time, there is still a good mix of activities and sightings. You can literally make a whole day out of spending time just walking around the resort. There's Sangria University at the Villa del Lago, some arts and crafts stuff, fire pit, an amazing looking pool (and a few smaller pools around each area) that you can explore. There's plenty of restaurants on site that hit every price range - low end to high end. I had dinner at Three Bridges Bar & Grill and it was pleasant and relaxing in the middle of the water at the resort while sipping my sangria. We also had a more budget friendly breakfast at El Mercado de Coronado for the Mickey waffles. If I had to do it all over again, for the pricing at the end of July, this was really one of the better choices within our budget. I wish we took more time to explore the resort. Read less

We couldn't afford to stay at the tower, which has all the best amenities. But that's ok because they do offer less expensive rooms on site for others and you can still enjoy the best of the amenities at the resort. It's a win-win. Before you even reach the resort, you’ll be amazed with magnificent views of this Resort hotel, which is so captivating at night thanks to its dramatic lake setting. Great photo ops here. The Coronado features a grand entrance with 3 elongated archways and a signature, ribbon-patterned design that is just amazing.. The decor and lighting are breathtaking. Upon arrival, you will step through an entryway featuring intricate wooden screens and into a grand 2-story lobby adorned with rows of Moorish hanging lanterns. Just incredible! Wow, I loved it. We had a great time at the pool with the waterslide, which my daughter is crazy about. You can worship the sun at an awesome aquatic area built around a 50-foot replica of a Mayan pyramid. We watched the water stream down the steps of this massive stone structure into the Lost City of Cibola pool. You can also plunge headlong into it on the spitting Jaguar Slide. Yes, my daughter did it. I watched from the safety of the pool. There is also a huge hot tub that holds 22 people. That was more my speed. Our room was very pretty and nicely decorated. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Everything was clean and smelled fresh. We had a balcony and nice view of the grounds. There are several restaurants to choose from also. Everything you need is here. Parking was free at their private parking lot. There are many handicapped accessiblability spots. We would definitely return here again in the future. Read less

The location is great . Central to all 4 parks plus not far from Disney springs. Food options are very good - but could be better. As an AP we got a very good price on our room. Bus service was good.
