Sat on the lakeside, Disney's Coronado Springs will treat you to relaxed vibes, as well as fun for all the family. Little ones (and big kids!) will love the huge waterslide, and be sure to catch a movie under the stars when the night rolls in. Where is it

In Disney's Animal Kingdom Resort area, close to Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park, Disney's Hollywood Studios and Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. Transfer time from Orlando International Airport: 30 minutes.

Hotel information

1,921 rooms, located in either the Village area or the Gran Destino Tower. All have air-conditioning, complimentary WiFi access, cable TV with Disney Channel, safe, mini-fridge, coffee/tea making facilities, hairdryer, iron and ironing board. 

Village Rooms can be booked with either 'Standard Location' or 'Preferred Location. Both of these offer a range of views including the lake, pool, arden courtyard, parking areas or landscaping, and can be booked with either 1 king-size bed or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 people. 

Preferred Location rooms will be closer to El Centro, dining, shopping and transportation.

Tower Resort View Rooms offer views of the courtyard, landscaping, or parking areas, with either 1 king-size bed or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 people.

Tower Water View Rooms have views of the pool or lake, with either 1 king-size bed or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 people.

Club Rooms are located in the tower, and include access to Disney's signature services, daily housekeeping, complimentary health club access, personalised front desk and guest services, access to concierge service at the Chronos Club, and access to the club lounge which serves refreshments from 7.00am - 10.00pm daily.

Use of the Walt Disney World Resort Transportation System is included in your stay: Disney Bus Transportation is available at this hotel to access all Disney Resorts, theme parks, water parks and Disney Springs.

I was told my room wasn’t available, so I went to the “sports bar”. After 3 hours I went back to check and was told my room was ready, but no text/no call. The walk after check-in nearly killed me. Rooms basic and small. Hate motel windows where people peer in. The staff I interacted with were lovely. Pool is nice. Bar is overpriced, but good.

This hotel drop the ball on basic housekeeping. Bathroom was dirty at check-in, after 3days of hung towels not drying due to humidity, had to call twice to exchange. Service was every other day, which was perfect, but those services did not provide towel exchange, refill on toilet paper, shampoo, coffee and coffee cups ( basic housekeeping). So come home late from parks, now calling and waiting for items. Talked to 2 managers, twice while we were at parks trying to make memories and get back to room and issues STILL not resolved. By 4th day in a row with issues, I was done! One manager even said things were overlooked cause they are a convention resort and they are busy-not an excuse. They are about to be even more bust with summer. Staid here for their reputation, but feel like would have better service for less $$ at another Disney property. Amazing resort! I cannot say enough great things. Every single aspect of our stay was perfection. We stayed in the Ranchos section and loved it. We didn’t mind the longer walk to the main area/restaurants as the property is so gorgeous. Pool area got busy, so we stayed in the smaller pools which were quiet and peaceful. Hot tub should be regulated as at many times there were 30 plus people jammed in for extended periods. Food at all restaurants was amazing! Proximity to Disney was great. All staff were helpful.
