I traveled with my daughter who just graduated college and a Disney trip was a must to celebrate! We arrived early on a Monday morning and were greeted by super friendly cast members who directed us to Bell services. We were able to drop off our luggage and head to the parks. I received a text later in the day, around 4, that our room was ready. We had requested a ground floor room near a bus stop and we got it! Once we arrived at the hotel, I called Bell services to let them know we were back and our luggage was delivered to our room in less than 10 minutes However, our first night there we had to deal with a little kid in the room above us that wouldn’t stop jumping from the bed and running all over the room around midnight; we couldn’t sleep. I called the front desk to complain and they must’ve called those guests because we didn’t hear anything afterwards- parents: please be considerate of other guests and teach your children to have some manners (Mom of 3 here). The restaurants, bars and gift shop were all great. Paola and Michael at the pool bar were totally the best and super helpful and friendly! This is by no means a 5 star hotel but it’s beautifully taken care of, super clean, close to everything Disney, and we will definitely stay here again! Thank you guys! Read less

--- ## 2-Star Review: Disappointing First Disney Resort Stay at Coronado Springs As first-time Disney resort guests, we were really excited about our stay at Coronado Springs, especially since we booked it directly through the Disney World call center. Unfortunately, our experience fell far short of the magical introduction we were hoping for. Our first impression was a bit misleading. The main hotel building looks quite grand from the outside, but we quickly realized we weren't actually staying there. Instead, we were assigned to one of the **outside ranchos. This was a significant disappointment. We felt a bit deceived, as the pictures and descriptions we saw during booking didn't clearly show these separate buildings. It felt like we booked one thing and got another. The resort's layout also proved to be quite inconvenient. The **main pool area is really far from everything**, including the primary building and our rancho. If you're someone who enjoys a lot of walking within a resort, it might be okay, but if you're looking for a traditional hotel experience with easy access to the pool, this isn't the place. Let's talk about the food. **Breakfast was genuinely horrible.** I'm not exaggerating when I say I think I've had better food at McDonald's. For a Disney resort, this was a surprising and unwelcome discovery. Furthermore, we found Coronado Springs to be **less family-friendly than we expected**. Beyond the pool, there really aren't many activities or features designed for kids. It felt more geared towards adults or conventions than a place for families expecting classic Disney fun. Finally, the **room we got was tiny with just a small window**. For the price we paid, we honestly believe we could have found a much better and nicer room in the **Disney Springs area**. Overall, our first Disney resort experience at Coronado Springs was a significant letdown and not the magical introduction we anticipated. Read less

Me and my mum have just returned from a 2 week stay here a couple of days ago, and we had a lovely time. This resort is gorgeous- the architecture, the theming, the facilities and it was always beautifully clean too. After arriving in Orlando after a 9 hour flight from the UK we were greeted by the friendly cast members at the front desk (Adam and a cast member earning their ears whose name I unfortunately didn't catch!), they were super kind and were very helpful when we were unable to find our room number on the app despite it being past 3pm. Turns out the standard room we were supposed to have wasn't available, so they have us an upgrade to a preferred room- how kind and amazing, what a nice surprise! The room was great, we were in the Casitas section overlooking the water which was lovely. (Only issue was our room being right next to the speaker which plays the resort ambiance music from 6am-11pm, also our Aircon was at a fixed temperature and couldn't be altered or turned down). But the proximity to the bus stop, small pool and El Mercado was super! Throughout our stay, the cast members we encountered were super friendly and kind. Special shout out to Justin at El Mercado de Coronado who always has a lovely chat to me and my mum and remembered us, and even kindly gifted us some pastries one day too (and gave me a Mickey bar :)) thank you Justin!!! Also a shout out to Destiny from the maintenance team; always like to bring stickers to give to the cast members, but my pack of stickers became stuck behind the drawer in the bedside table; destiny came to the rescue and saved my stickers (and fixed the drawer too). Thank you Destiny! The pools onsite at this hotel were lovely, with one main pool called the Dig Site which had a waterslide, a spa/hot tub and a kids splash pad and obviously a big pool. And 3 smaller pools in the hotel sections- our pool in Casitas was great being near the laundry which was handy for non-park days where you swim and do some clothes washing! The staff at the Dig Site were super and attentive, helping to retrieve a large insect from the pool (in the UK we don't have insects that big so I had no clue what it was, I later found out it was a locust). The only thing we had any issue with during our stay was the food, due to the quality changing each day. An example being that my mum had the vegetarian rice bowl and loved it the first time as it was fresh and had nice flavours, but the second time it was so unbearably spicy she couldn't finish it (she said it wasn't spicy the first time). Also, we last stayed here at this lovely resort a couple years back, the pastries used to be self-serve so you could choose your croissant (for example) then take it to the till to pay for it, now they are behind a counter where you order them after queuing for them. Personally I thought the old system seemed more effective and created less queues. Also, not food related but a suggestion which may be helpful for the quick service restaurant- possibly to add another mug wash station and also some washing-up liquid for the refillable mugs as for people staying a for a longer stay than a few days the cups need a little more than just water to clean them, especially if theyve had drinks like hot cocoa in them. But back to the positive, we had great experiences at the Dahlia Lounge overlooking the fireworks with some nice drinks, even trying the cookie flight one time. The music is pumped in for the Epcot fireworks show Luminous, which makes for a lovely viewing and listening experience from the comfort of the hotel. Overall a lovely stay and I would recommend for anyone to come see and experience this beautiful resort! :) Read less

Bait-and-switch resort experience. The photos highlight the sleek, modern tower—but unless you pay extra, you’ll likely be placed in the older casita section behind it, which feels more like apartment units than a resort. To make matters worse, we woke up to find roaches in the room. I brought this up to the manager, but he didn’t seem concerned. His response was simply that I could move to another casita or they could call in pest control—not exactly the level of care or service you’d expect. Read less
