Stayed here for 5 nights Aug 25. Was a bit worried before we came as I saw some videos and thought the room looked tiny. I shouldn't have worried, even with the 2 beds down it was fine. Nice big bathroom, plenty of room under beds for cases. Food was ok, not great, is worth a walk over to AoA as the selection there was slightly better. Skyliner… Read more

Skyliner handy, but if you are planning on staying at parks until the end of the night you are better off driving. What was a 10 min drive took over an hour on the skyliner, the queues were massive. Big pool nice, some films shown there at night. Smaller pools are heated, so are no good when you want a break from the heat, its like getting in a bath! Overall a nice, clean hotel. Staff on reception helpful. I would stay again Read less

My husbund and I just got back from a magical stay at Pop Century. We arrived befor the check in time, so our room wasn't ready. They checked us in, gave us our room keys and anniversary buttons. Since we were checked in we could use the pool, transportation, etc. while we waited. We received a text about an hour later. Our room was in the 80's section, building 9 and on the 4th floor. We had a standard room. The room was perfect for my husbund and I but would of been a little small if we had kids with us. The walls were a little thin. We were able to hear people as they walked by our room and could hear the people talking in the room beside us. There is shampoo, conditioner and bodywash provided. We didnt care for the scent and next time I would bring my own. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable and had plenty of pillows. Mousekeeping only comes every other day, which i didn't care for since the trash cans were small and filled quickly. Since Pop Century is a value resort they do not have any table service restaurants, just a food court. We ate there several times. The food was good overall and service was quick even when they were busy. There is a small gift shop by the food court. They had all the essentials you may have forgotten as well as souvenirs. The bus stop is located at the front of the hotel and the skyliner is in the back. The skyliner was very convenient and a lot quicker and more enjoyable than the busses. I wish you were able to ride the skyliner to all of the parks. The employees were kind, knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was one we would never forget. We would stay here again but will probably stay at a moderate resort on our next visit, just to try something different. Read less

I was a little concerned about staying here having read some of the reviews but overall for the cost of the hotels (vs other Disney resorts) I was really impressed. We stayed in the 90s block which while it was further away wasn’t too bad at all and was a 6 min walk to the skyliner or reception. Rooms are newly refurbished and are clean and well presented. Yes when the second bed was down it was cramped but we quickly put it away when the kids were up. Shower was good, plenty of room under beds for suitcases too. We were also impressed that despite housekeeping only due to come every other day they did a refresh every day. The 90s area had its own smaller pool with games etc which was great! Noise levels were fine though we did see some refurbs going on next to paying guest rooms so I can understand that may have been problematic. We stoped in several more expensive resorts over our trip and found some had much worse transportation than pop, the skyliner in particular was great! Little wait times and some amazing views if your up during the fire works Food is a bit crap but if you look at this as another Disney quick service restaurant it’s better than on offer on the parks as there is more choice inc cereal boxes for kids etc to have in the room. I’m really glad we stayed here as it was a cheap base for us to put our heads down after a day in the parks. Read less

The room was clean, bed comfortable and air con excellent. The pools are good and towels a plenty to use. However the food in the resort is awful. Very poor. Very sugary stuff and basic beige fast food kind of stuff. I would recommend getting groceries from the local Walmart- you’ll need to get a taxi there and back

I stayed at Disney’s Pop Century Resort for four nights in early May on my first ever trip to Disney. I visited with a friend who had stayed at this resort before and recommended it. Our room was spacious enough with comfortable beds and pillows. I liked the little touches like our names being displayed on the TV screen when we walked in, welcoming us. I have to give Disney credit, they kept to the theme of the different decades of the 20th century throughout the resort. There are at least three large swimming pools on the property, located in different areas (different decades) of the resort, including everyone’s favorite, the Hippy Dippy Pool. Inside the resort main hall was the gift shop/store and the food court. There are plenty of options in the food court for any and all dietary restrictions. I tried the street corn fries, which were french fries topped with roasted corn relish, cotija cheese, and cilantro-lime crema. They had so much flavor and they went heavy on the cheese and corn. For breakfast one morning I ordered the loaded totcho bowl, which was tater tots topped with scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese, sauce gravy, and bacon. This was packed full of bacon and eggs, plenty of protein to last me for a long day in the park. For the most cost effective beverage option, you can get the Disney Rapid Fill Refillable Mug for $22.99, which allows you unlimited refills of any fountain drinks, coffee, or tea available in the food courts in the Disney resorts or on the boardwalk. Obviously one the biggest draws of this resort is that it is on Disney property, allowing walkable access to the Skyliner and one hour earlier access to the parks than the general public. Parking was free was well at the resort, one of the only free things I encountered at Disney. Overall this was nice place to stay and I would consider it again for any future Disney adventures.
