Use of the Walt Disney World Resort Transportation System is included in your stay: Connected to EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios via the Disney Skyliner Transportation, with Walt Disney World Bus Transportation available for all other Resort locations.

“Disappointed in Disney’s Riviera Resort”

My father rented a mobility scooter (ECV) from a company other than Disney’s “approved” provider, ScooterBug, which has poor reviews. We had a family emergency and needed to leave early. When we asked the front desk to hold the scooter for a couple of hours until pickup, they agreed—but only if we paid a $75 “package handling” fee because it wasn’t from ScooterBug. The resort gladly held our luggage and deliveries for free, yet charged for briefly holding a scooter. It feels like Disney is protecting an exclusive deal with ScooterBug at guests’ expense. We paid the $75 just to catch our flight, but the lack of understanding and customer service was shocking for a Disney property. First and last stay at Riviera Resort.

“Perfect Epcot location”

Wonderful stay with great location near Epcot. Our room was very nice with comfortable beds and loved having 2 separate bathroom sinks. The pool at the Swan was so relaxing and quiet.

We’ve stayed here a couple of times now and absolutely love it. It’s our home away from home. I love the theming and feel of the resort and the fact that it was inspired by Walt Disney’s trips to Europe and that this is shown everywhere in the photos on the walls. I love how compact the resort is, and that the parks are easy to get to by bus or Skyliner but that the resort feels like it’s in its own quiet location away from them. The Skyliner is easily my favourite mode of Disney transportation (when it’s running, which it was most of the time we were there), Primo Piatto is my favourite resort quick service on Disney property, and Le Petit Cafe is my favourite coffee spot. Our room was lovely, although starting to show a little bit of wear and tear in places - I still think of it as Disney’s new hotel and have to remind myself it’s 6 years old now! Our view was spectacular - we’d booked a Resort View but found out we’d been pixie dusted and given a free upgrade to a Preferred View room and it couldn’t have been better, right up on the 7th floor and slap bang in the middle of the building looking out over the resort grounds and Caribbean Beach. I could even see both Riviera and Caribbean Beach Movies Under the Stars showing one evening, although the latter was too far away to actually see what the film was. The staff here are all incredibly friendly and helpful - I managed to accidentally destroy my refillable mug and was given a voucher for a new one 😊 This is my favourite of all the Disney resorts - I didn’t want to leave!! My one suggestion would be to add a second Guest Laundry to the West Wing, as the one in the East Wing is pretty small.
