We stayed overnight and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. I had called twice the week before and again the day before arrival to confirm requests for a crib, a higher-floor room, and early check-in at 1 p.m. I even upgraded to a fireworks-view room. Despite all that, when we arrived the room wasn’t ready. I checked back twice, and by 4:10 p.m.—past the 4 p.m. check-in time—it was still not available. Hotels are strict about 11 a.m. checkout, so it’s frustrating that they aren’t equally strict about honoring check-in. The hotel itself feels very outdated for the price. You have to pay for self parking which we wouldn’t mind if there were actual spots available. Instead, the lot was full and people were forced to squeeze into makeshift spaces. When we finally got our room, there was no crib despite all my calls. I had to go back down and complain to the manager before one was finally delivered. Also, for a hotel branded as the “Walt Disney Dolphin,” it really doesn’t feel Disney at all. The only positive is that the room was clean. Otherwise, Wi-Fi didn’t work, the hallways were dark and uninviting, and the bathroom had no vent. Overall, this hotel is outdated, overpriced, and does not deliver the Disney experience you’d expect. The cleanliness was the only redeeming factor. I would not recommend staying here. Read less

I stayed in a suite at the Dolphin for a business conference. The location is truly unbeatable—it's close to EPCOT, with dining options within walking distance to the boardwalk, or you can enjoy a complimentary boat ride. The resort offers fantastic amenities. However, the pool tends to get quite crowded in the afternoons. The gym is somewhat small, but it does have a laundry room! The conference facilities were well-organized and very convenient. The suite itself was spacious and comfortable, making it suitable for both work and relaxation, although the décor felt a bit outdated and one of the drawers wouldn't close properly. The bathroom was smaller than I had anticipated. Housekeeping was a bit inconsistent; sometimes I received only a couple of bottles of water, and other times cleaning was delayed until the late afternoon. The Wi-Fi connection was not very reliable, often cutting in and out. The dining options were excellent for quick meals like pizza and burgers. Overall, this is a great choice for business travelers looking for a balance of productivity and relaxation in the Disney area. I would absolutely love to return again!!! Read less

We stayed here in Feb. 2022. Don’t believe all the naysayers. The location and price can’t be beat. A few hints: Ask for a high floor. We stayed near the top of the pyramid. Maybe the 22nd. Floor. Short floor, maybe 8 rooms on each side. Very nice, not much wear and tear up there. Go to Yacht , Beach Club or Boardwalk Inn for busses. They are… Read more

Short floor, maybe 8 rooms on each side. Very nice, not much wear and tear up there. Go to Yacht , Beach Club or Boardwalk Inn for busses. They are much better than at Swan, Dolphin. Ate all our breakfasts except one on the boardwalk. Boardwalk bakery has reasonably priced food. There are also some good priced lunches to be had on the Boardwalk. We ate most dinners at the little cafe by the Dolphin pool. Again, good and reasonably priced. We didn’t get a car, so no exorbitant parking fee. The Meats shuttle from the airport worked well. Didn’t see a need fora car while there. We were there for the Princess Half Marathon, and everything met our expectations. Go ahead and stay at a Disney hotel if you want, cost will probably be double. Read less

The staff were great, with the exception of front desk employee STONE who checked us in. I am a platinum elite member and upon checking in at 1am with two very tired children, I asked for an upgraded room very close to the elevators as we were exhausted and just wanted to get to our room. He gave me room 4171 which was actually the room which was as far from the elevator as you could get. It was down two long hallways and was the last room in the west wing. Was this a sick joke at the expense of an exhausted mother and her two exhausted children carrying heavy bags? I have no idea what his motivation was but it ruined the start to our holiday and I do not believe for a second that this was the only room available. Aside from that, room 4171 is an adjoining room and we had the pleasure of being woken up by a birthday party well beyond midnight, when we were trying to get up early for the parks early access. The adjoining door is paper thin, I could hear the beeps when they put the numbers into the safe code. I could hear people whispering. After calling security, they indicated that they would come to my room for me to make a statement (ie: alerting the party people that it was us next door who made the complaint) to which I said absolutely not, obviously not wanting to be singled out as the people who ruined the party fun?!! Just the idea of suggesting this is absurd. Once security had left the party continued and I asked again for security to come back, only to be told that they didn't hear anything from outside the door at the exact moment they came up, despite the party going on. I didn't get to sleep until after 3:00 am and my children were also woken up. Speaking of early access to the parks, when going to catch the boat to HS, we had to wait for 3 boats to come and go before we could board = no early access, which was one of the reasons I stayed at this dump. Overall this was a horrible stay, horrible staff and I'll be writing to Marriott HQ to share my experience. Read less
