Our 3 days and 2 nights stay at Adaaran Hudhuranfushi was very magical. We chose this beautiful resort to celebrate our 4th wedding anniversary, and every single moment exceeded our expectations. The level of service, warmth, and attention to detail truly made this celebration unforgettable.
From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by Nethmi, who was absolutely fabulous. She patiently attended to all our questions and requests, always responding immediately and perfectly. Her professionalism and genuine care set the tone for our entire stay. I also heard that she was on her managerial training, I can say that she could be one of the assets of Adaaran in the future same as their existing Manager in FNB, Janaka.
Our first dinner at the Sunset Restaurant was a wonderful experience, thanks to Dewi. She delivered outstanding service with such a warm smile and positive attitude, we heard that it was her first time to be rotated on the said area but for us she was very professional and she possess a very sweet attitude towards guests with her simple smile —it truly made our evening extra special.
At the Main Restaurant, our ever-favorite waiter Shaain once again went above and beyond. His service is exceptional, and what touched us most is that he remembered us and our usual preferences even from our previous day pass visits. The same goes to Sous Chef Samantha, who was incredibly flexible and attentive to our food preferences. There were simple things I enjoy that aren’t even available on the island where I live, yet they remembered without me having to ask—this level of care is truly rare.
Another big kudos to Rathnayaka, who was always friendly and consistently smiling throughout the day. His positive energy made the service feel light, warm, and full of good vibes. The pool staff (I unfortunately missed his name) was also very kind, helpful, and attentive.
I would also like to commend Dulshan, a manager trainee who genuinely works and cares for guests as if he were the owner of the resort—an admirable attitude and a true mark of a great future leader. The same goes for Suranga, who was professional, friendly, detail-oriented, and absolutely wonderful during the Barefoot Island Lobster Dinner. As someone who also works in the hotel industry, I can confidently say that this team truly understands the importance of attention to detail and genuine service.
In addition to everyone, I want to commend Lukey from Lohis Bar. The way he serves us with respect and smile means a lot. He was also so kind that in any questions being asked he always have a polite answer with all and always with a good smile.
Special thanks as well to Aasir and Lammah from the Front Office, and the Maldivian Captain Waiter from the Main Restaurant. Even though I only met them during our departure, their helpfulness, friendliness, and light-hearted jokes made our goodbye day feel warm and pleasant.
Last but definitely not the least, my deepest gratitude goes to Mr. Janaka, who helped me with everything—from the booking to all the surprises I planned for my husband. Despite his busy schedule, he made sure everything I envisioned came to life, including the first unexpected dinner at the Sunset Restaurant. If it weren’t for him, I wouldn’t have had the chance to meet this magical and highly professional team. I truly cannot thank him enough.
Once again, thank you to the entire Adaaran Hudhuranfushi team for making our anniversary celebration so memorable. We will definitely be back and look forward to seeing you all again very soon!
