“Grand 50th at Centara Grand”

Centara Grand Lagoon, a piece of heaven! What a place!!You rarely travel and find a place like this, with nothing to fault.Ashraf the Resident Manager summed it up so well, we arrived as strangers and left as family! We spent 10 nights in total, 6 at the over-water villa and 4 at the sunset beach villa. Centara Grand Lagoon is an absolute gem with awesome views and sunsets! Activities cater to all, you can chill at Coco Drift or Sunset Lounge, snorkel, engage in water sports and music entertainment, or simply laze around the resort which provides endless beauty! As this place is still fairly new, we would definitely like to visit again to see how it matures. This would most likely increase privacy especially for the sunset villas. For us, from the very first greeting to goodbye, our stay has been impeccable. To name a few of the staff, Shaiha was amazing, she helped organise a surprise birthday dinner at Blue Finn for my husband. Housekeeping staff Javed went above and beyond with attention to detail. Nightly buffet dinner at the Gallery always brightened our nights through banter and the service from the staff who even surprised my husband with yet another celebration, thank you especially to Boki and JK, Riley, Sobree, Adam, Aru, Kim and Devanthe. Other staff to thank include Don, Ashish(loved the towel animals), Ushantey and Riri. Ram, the life guard, we were so touched by his warmth. Ismail with the super fast and friendly service and Linda always with a smile and some good insights. Thank you to this amazing team of people, our stay here is amongst the best we've ever had!

“Family vacation”

We just completed an outstanding holiday in this resort and we couldn't be happier with choosing Centara Grand Lagoon for our vacation! Everything and everyone was an absolute delight and all my compliments feel almost not enough to describe how wonderful the whole experience was! From the boat and the boat crew that took us from the airport to the hotel, from the quality of the villas and all the facilities of the island (it's a new resort and everything is fresh, new, modern and yet perfectly integrated in the nature, bright and spacious, with updated technology inside), from the variety of food choices and the impressive quality of the meals, from the first person whom we met till the last one on departure, absolutely everything was wonderful! We are so so grateful for all the memories we've created in this gorgeous resort! After visiting Maldives several times, we can easily say that Centara Grand Lagoon was by far the most wonderful we've been to! And the best part of it: of course, the most generous and kindest people working there! Miss Zu, who took incredibly great care of us, deserves all our gratitude for always being there to help! Mr. Moosa and Mr. Shammaty ensured our villa was spotless twice a day, and each time, they left a creative towel design which my daughters loved! The excitement was so cute every time we were coming back after their work! For the entire bar team at the main pool, we send our deepest compliments! They were all very professional, friendly, so kind and ready to assist us with any kind of requests. Ms. Linda and Mr. Ismail definitely have a special place in our hearts as they connected so well with our children. Mr. Ismail even took care of one of my daughters when she fell and scratched a knee, with proper first aid assistance!. I have no words to thank them enough for everything they have done during our stay! Their care was genuine and pure! The Blue Finn restaurant was our choice for dinners and we loved it, the food quality and the drinks variety were perfect while the staff more than helpful! The ladies carrying for the kids club deserve all the credits fir their patience and genuine care! Last but not the least: the buggy drivers!!! Their smiles are contagious! I could continue with all the compliments! Definitely recommending this resort! We are looking forward for coming back! We thank you all!
