Located 50 nautrical miles south of Malé International Airport in the pristine waters of Vaavu Atoll (east side of the Atoll). 90 minutes by speedboat or 25 minutes by seaplane (remember to pack light for the seaplane transfer as luggage allowance is 20kg plus 5kg hand luggage, per person).

Superior Beach Lofts are 79sqm and offer stunning views of the Indian Ocean with a separate rainfall shower and bath amenities with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults. Option to interconnect with Beach Bungalows (ground floor).

Board basis options

Standard All Inclusive package: includes buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner at VAH Global Dining. Selection of local snacks served between 10:30am-11:30am, 4:00pm-5:00pm. Unlimited regular house brands from a selection of spirits and wines (served by the glass only). Unlimited cocktails and mocktails from a select menu. Selection of draught beer. Selection of carbonated soft drinks, canned fruit juice, mineralised water plus teas and coffees. Access to gym, billiard, snooker, beach volleyball, badminton, futsal and table tennis (equipment included).

Virgin All Inclusive package: all inclusions of the standard package plus international premium brand spirits and wines, fresh juice, milk shakes, one seafood grill or steak dinner served at the table one time per stay in the VAH Global Dining, one excursion (once per stay), and In room full mini-bar service (soft drinks and beer) replenished once per day.

Premium All Inclusive package: all inclusions of the standard package plus welcome bottle of sparkling wine on arrival. In room full mini-bar service stocked with beer, soft drinks and selection of snacks (replenished once per day). Premium international brand spirits, wines and cocktails. Unlimited fresh juice and milk shakes. Two complimentary excursions from a selected list - per person per stay (weather permitting). Invitation to two special themed party events organised by the resort. One special dinner on the beach with the option of a mixed seafood grill or steak. Signature 60-minute Balinese spa treatment at Mandara Spa once every 5 night stay. Turndown service every night (on request).

“Honeymoon in the Maldives”

We stayed here for our honeymoon in late August and it was the most incredible week. Of course the facilities, food and location of the island are a massive plus, it’s very private and everything is of such high quality! But really it is the staff who make this place worth visiting. The team is amazing and I only wish I knew all their names to thank them! Nethmi, Prasad and Chamil were always so so friendly, and helped us so much with planning what activities to do. The highlight of the trip, was the dinner on the beach which these three had a huge part in organising in. Mubarak was our server for the evening and he did an amazing job! A huge shoutout also to Hansi and Wasantha, they were amazing at every meal time and went above and beyond for us, even learning our breakfast and meal preferences! The house keeping team were also amazing, especially Kabir, who did the most amazing flower arrangements on the bed for us everyday. The biggest thankyou however has to go to Mujey, our server, who greeted us everyday with a huge smile and two of his famous iced coffees. He truly made our visit so special and we were so so grateful to him. Once again, a huge thankyou to all the staff, and to anyone searching for a resort in the Maldives I would highly recommend this one!

“A paradise, even for celiacs!”

After staying last year at Cinnamon Hakura Huraa (a wonderful experience!), at the beginning of September this year we went to Cinnamon Velifushi, and it was an amazing holiday! The room we stayed in was fantastic (340), the sea was beautiful, and the entire resort was perfect: impeccable cleanliness, stunning sea and beaches. We saw so many fish, sharks, turtles, moray eels, etc... all in complete safety and with perfect weather: warm water and sunshine with a light breeze that kept us from ever getting too hot! A special mention, however, goes to the food: I have celiac disease and therefore need to eat gluten-free with no cross-contamination, something that’s always hard to find, especially abroad. But at Cinnamon Velifushi, those with gluten allergies are incredibly well taken care of: the gluten-free food options were excellent and very tasty, always prepared separately in the kitchen by the restaurant staff! And I say this as an Italian — and as you know, we are very demanding when it comes to food. I was able to enjoy everything from fish to meat, and to my surprise, even gluten-free pasta and desserts that were really well made! All the photos are of gluten-free dishes! In particular, we want to thank Chef Manavadu (who, by the way, was also the chef last year) and Chef Raaji: with them, I felt truly looked after and at ease every time I sat down to eat! We’d like to thank the entire staff at Velifushi, and especially our waiter Shameen, the very kind Prasad, and the efficient Lasith for taking care of our room. We highly recommend Cinnamon to anyone looking to spend a beautiful and relaxing holiday in the Maldives! Clarissa and Sebastiano

The resort is beautiful, clean, maintained every day. The rooms are beautiful, clean. The food is delicious and the service is amazing, especially Ali. I want to praise the gentleman with glasses at the reception, he is the best. The holiday was the best I have ever experienced, I highly recommend it
