“Marriage and Honeymoon”

Marriage and Honeymoon Dhigufaru Resort is a tropical paradise where the turquoise sea embraces the whiteness of the sand. The most welcoming place we have ever visited, with an amazing, professional, dedicated, and truly kind staff. They made the most important day of our lives absolutely perfect in every detail, fulfilling every wish and request we had for the organization. We thank the entire staff: Aya, for her availability, kindness, and professionalism. A special thank you to our wedding photographer, Vishamm, who captured the most beautiful memories we will keep forever; the two girls who were part of the ceremony; the gentleman who made the bodu beru music possible; and Dupak, who took care of every detail in our room. And finally, the most important of all for us, Ahmed—the person who welcomed us from the very first day, helped us perfectly organize our stay, and made sure we enjoyed everything the resort has to offer, from excursions to snorkeling, kayaking, and more. With professionalism and genuine dedication, he was always ready to assist us at any moment, and we truly believe he is an added value to the resort. Most importantly, Ahmed is the person who officiated our ceremony, and he will forever remain in our memories as someone very special to us. Dhigufaru Island Resort is one of the best resorts we could ever recommend in the Maldives—everything spotless, a dedicated staff, excellent food, and incredibly rich marine and land flora and fauna. We leave with the best impressions and a strong desire to return as soon as possible. Highly recommended from us.

This is a place for relaxing and switching off completely. Staff are amazing especially Liz and Ahmed the manager. Service is great in the Restaurants. The Water villas are beyond amazing. Food is good. It’s a very relaxing place that I’ve never experienced that much relaxing before with my partner. Highly Recommended.

This was our second stay having spent a fortnight here in January. At Velana Airport we were whisked off to a dedicated lounge (as returners) by the Dhigafaru rep which was much appreciated after travelling from the UK. The Dhigufaru team at the airport are fantastic, & Niyaz made sure we caught our flight home after delays with the sea planes & weather issues on day of departure. At resort , we quickly settled into our sea villa & then made off to the buffet . We were soon spotted by the restaurant manager (our dear friend Manik ) who made sure once again that we so well looked after on table 54 . He has a great team in the dining room. What brings us back to Dhigafaru( apart from the staff) is the abundance of the most perfect pure soft sand , the vast lagoons of clear shallow warm water ideal for just walking through , with deeper areas available for snorkelling . The meandering sandy shaded paths through the centre of the resort are also enjoyable to walk along. The size of the detached sea villas with such well equipped bathrooms are just perfect for a long stay. Loads of UK electrical sockets are very convenient for Brits ! (We will definitely return with the only negative for us being that smoking is allowed in the bars & around the pool . Being non-smokers we find the smell quite off putting). In conclusion we wish Manik , Anees & all the other wonderful staff on the island the very best , & many thanks to you all for such a memorable second stay on your island . P & T ( 406 ) x
