The hotel

This lush resort is blessed with amazingly colourful coral reefs, a fine white sandy beach on one side of the island and a turquoise lagoon, making it perfect for those seeking unspoiled surrounds in which to relax. Where is it

In the northeast of North Ari Atoll. Transfer time from Malé International Airport: 30 minutes by seaplane (remember to pack light for the seaplane transfer as luggage allowance is 20kg plus 5kg hand luggage, per person), or 1 hour 30 minutes by speedboat. Please note: seaplane transfers to/from your resort will only operate in daylight hours. Speedboat transfers are more economical, are available during daylight hours (except May-September) and are weather dependent. Please ensure your international flights into and out of Malé allow for these schedules.

Hotel information

112 rooms and bungalows. All with terrace, air-conditioning, satellite TV, complimentary, telephone, tea/coffee-making facilities, mini-bar*, safe, hairdryer and iron. Standard Rooms are located on the island, open out onto the gardens and have outdoor showers, with 1 king-size bed, plus extra bed on request, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 1 child.

Standard All-Inclusive package: includes buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner plus selection of local snacks served between 10.30am-11.30am, 4.00pm-6.00pm and 10.30pm-11.30pm: unlimited regular house brands from a a selection of spirits and wines (served by the glass only), unlimited cocktails and mocktails from a select menu, selection of draught beer, selection of carbonated soft drinks, canned fruit juice, mineralised water plus teas and coffees at all outlets. Access to gym, badminton, tennis, squash courts, table tennis, billiard, snooker, beach volleyball and football (equipment included).

Virgin All-Inclusive: includes buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner in allocated buffet, plus morning, evening and late night snacks. Local and premium branded spirits, wines and cocktails, fresh juices and milk shakes, still bottled water, and tea and coffee. Plus one seafood grill or steak dinner at the the table (once per stay), a platter of chocolates in room on second day and mini-bar including soft drinks and beer (replenished once daily). One dolphin watching excursion per stay. Use of fitness centre, badminton, tennis courts, table tennis, snooker and squash.

Premium All-Inclusive package: includes all inclusions of the standard package plus a welcome bottle of sparkling wine on arrival, in-room mini-bar stocked with beer, soft drinks and selection of snacks (replenished daily), premium international brand spirits wines and cocktails, unlimited fresh juice and mild shakes, 2 complimentary excursions from selected list - per person per stay (weather permitting), invitation to 2 special themed party events organized by the resort, one special dinner on the beach with the option of a mixed seafood grill or steak, 1 x signature 60 minute Balinese spa treatment at Chavana Spa for stays under 14 nights, 2 x signature 60 minute Balinese spa treatment at Chavana Spa for stays between 14-20 nights. Turndown service every night.

Please note: outside the hours of 00:00 to 09.00am any food/drinks consumed (regardless of AIl-Inclusive package booked) will be charged on consumption.

Superior Rooms are in two-storey blocks (with two Superior Rooms on each floor) and face the ocean. These spacious rooms have 1 king-size bed and 1 single bed (extra bed available), sleeping maximum 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

Beach Bungalows are individual and look out to sea, offering more privacy, and have 1 king-size bed plus extra bed on request, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 1 child.

Water Bungalows are set on stilts over the water, with private deck, and have 1 king-size bed plus extra bed on request, sleeping maximum 3 adults.

Madi Restaurant (international buffet, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner). Malamathi Restaurant & Bar (exclusively for guests staying in Water Bungalows). Iruohsnee bar and coffee shop. EYZ Bar. Malamathi Poolside Bar.

.I spent a great vacation in this resort. The island is beautiful and the reef stunning. The service was ceptional the food was great and the staffs were very kind and attentive. A special thanks to Nader and jesica at the bar. They are very professional and helpful. Definitely we will return this island..

We had a beach appsrtment. It was fantastic!!! Wery good coffe, tee……. The house reef was fantastic!!!!!! So many fishes…Very tasty food in restaurant Madi. .Super Staff- for exampel Niha - she was very helpfull, Thanks We come back again.

My husband and I visited Ellaidhoo this January to experience the Maldives and its stunning coral reef, and our stay was truly magical. We had an unforgettable time, thanks to the exceptional care provided by the professional and kind staff who made our visit extra special. The island is peaceful, the food is fantastic, and the atmosphere is perfect for relaxation. A pleasant surprise during our stay was an unexpected upgrade to a better house right near the sea, which was incredibly thoughtful. The house was very comfortable, especially the bed and fluffy pillows, ensuring we had a restful and relaxing stay. What impressed us most was the resort's commitment to sustainability. Plastic use is completely avoided – guests are provided with metal bottles, paper bags, and wooden keys for the rooms, which we truly appreciated. A highlight of our stay was the eco-educational center, where we had the pleasure of learning from marine ecologist Tharushi Pitigala. She is not only highly professional but also a true nature lover. Tharushi shared her knowledge about the reefs and the island’s unique biodiversity in a gentle and engaging manner. She is the kindest person, always wearing a big smile on her face, making every interaction a joy. We even adopted a reef cube to contribute to the sustainability of the house reef – a wonderful initiative introduced to us by Tharushi. Her dedication and the way she organized the adoption experience made it even more memorable. Ellaidhoo is a true gem, and we would love to revisit this paradise again.
