In the northeast of North Ari Atoll. Transfer time from Malé International Airport: 30 minutes by seaplane (remember to pack light for the seaplane transfer as luggage allowance is 20kg plus 5kg hand luggage, per person), or 1 hour 30 minutes by speedboat. Please note: seaplane transfers to/from your resort will only operate in daylight hours. Speedboat transfers are more economical, are available during daylight hours (except May-September) and are weather dependent. Please ensure your international flights into and out of Malé allow for these schedules.

Standard Rooms are located on the island, open out onto the gardens and have outdoor showers, with 1 king-size bed, plus extra bed on request, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 1 child.

Board basis options

Full Board option: includes breakfast, lunch and dinner. Mineral water and regular coffee/tea will be included during meal times only (upon request).

Standard All-Inclusive package: includes buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner plus selection of local snacks served between 10.00am-11.00am, 4.00pm-5.30pm and 10.00pm-11.00pm: unlimited regular house brands from a a selection of spirits and wines (served by the glass only), unlimited cocktails and mocktails from a select menu, selection of draught beer, selection of carbonated soft drinks, canned fruit juice, mineralised water plus teas and coffees at all outlets. Access to gym, badminton, tennis, squash courts, table tennis, billiard, snooker, beach volleyball and football (equipment included).

Virgin All-Inclusive: includes buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner in allocated buffet, plus morning, evening and late night snacks. Local and premium branded spirits, wines and cocktails, fresh juices and milk shakes, still bottled water, and tea and coffee. Plus one seafood grill or steak dinner at the the table (once per stay), a platter of chocolates in room on second day and mini-bar including soft drinks and beer (replenished once daily). One dolphin watching excursion per stay. Use of fitness centre, badminton, tennis courts, table tennis, snooker and squash.

Premium All-Inclusive package: includes all inclusions of the standard package plus a welcome bottle of sparkling wine on arrival, in-room mini-bar stocked with beer, bottled water and potato chips (replenished daily), premium international brand spirits wines and cocktails, unlimited fresh juice and milk shakes, 2 complimentary excursions from selected list - per person per stay (weather permitting), invitation to 2 special themed party events organized by the resort, one special dinner on the beach with the option of a mixed seafood grill or steak, 1 x signature 60 minute Balinese spa treatment at Chavana Spa once every 5 night stay. Turndown service every night.

“5 star fantastic 6 night stay”

I stayed at Ellaidhoo Maldives by Cinnamon for 6 nights with my daughter in September, and honestly, it was better than we could have hoped for. The staff really make this place. They’re polite, respectful, and genuinely helpful — nothing feels like too much trouble. I’ve heard people say the Maldives can get boring after a few days, but that definitely wasn’t our experience. There’s loads to do if you actually get involved. We did the native island trip (though “island hopping” should really include more than just one stop), the sunset cruise, and sunset fishing — they even cooked the fish we caught, which was a great touch. The reef is unbelievable. You can snorkel whenever you like, with sharks, rays, and thousands of fish right there. Scuba gear’s available too if you fancy something more structured, but just drifting around with a mask and fins was enough for me. I’d say bring your own snorkel and underwater camera if you can — the water’s like glass. The Beach Bungalows are perfect. Clean, spacious, air-conditioned, and right on the sand with views that look like a computer screensaver. Waking up to that turquoise water every morning was incredible. Food was spot on. I love curry and there was plenty of it at every meal, but if you want variety you’ll find burgers and other dishes as well. The buffet had more than enough choice, and the desserts were solid too. Drinks and cocktails were generous, and the bar staff looked after us well. Evenings were fun — the duo live band was brilliant, easily the best entertainment we had. The DJ nights were fine, though the music could have had a few more well-known tracks. One big tip: avoid the speedboat transfer after a long flight. After 15 hours in the air, 90 minutes being thrown around on a rough sea was horrible. On the way back we switched to the seaplane and it was a completely different story — smooth, scenic, and only 25 minutes. Worth the extra money. And the weather? Perfect — about 30°C every day, sunshine and clear skies all week. All in all, Ellaidhoo gave us exactly what we wanted and more. It’s a proper 5-star island and we came home with memories to last a lifetime.

“Tranquil paradise with a diving reef and wildlife”

We had a wonderful time at this resort - perfectly restful, meditative, full of wildlife (and absolutely 0 cars!). The resort is located in a small island about 1h15min ride from Male. We got a great deal, staying enough nights that the speedboat transfer was free. The resort is manicured and has gorgeous nature. It is possible to walk around the island in 10 minutes at leisurely pace. There are birds, the crabs, and uncountable fishes (and sharks!) in the sea. The house reef is amazing, though one needs to be careful with the waves (don't go into the shallows if it's wavy). We got a bungalow by the beach, which was probably the best spot on the resort (most others were overlooking concrete barriers with steps leading into the water instead). So, what kind of experience you get is a bit up to chance. The sand is natural, extremely fine and white, and of course the whole island is pristine. They do not allow plastics, and it really shows. All the manicuring of the greens also meant that there were no mosquitos or other insects at night, which allowed for very restful evenings (unlike on more overgrown local islands). The buffet has been a delight, serving a mixture of western and eastern (mostly Indian/Sri Lankan/Maldivian). The fish dishes were, for some reason, always overcooked, which was a disappointment. But the highlight was the dessert room, which beckoned with the ripest papaya and other fruits, and a selection of sweet cakes and mousses. With an all-inclusive reservation, you get access to a menu of drinks, as well as very decent beer. It's hard to find something without sugar, but it's possible. You can always request a modification to the recipe. There is also a restaurant, where you can get a different experience, though the service would be a bit slower. We did not take advantage of the tours (we did more of those on a local island), but the house reef was already quite a spectacle. We saw several kinds of sharks, and many of them come to the boats at sunset (perhaps they were fed there at some point). There is a diving center, and a spectacular drop-off that will give you plenty of room for depth. There are also various activities planned, for instance there was an interesting local cooking demonstration. For my birthday, we went to the spa and got a very nice couples massage by Ratih and Atik. It was a rainy day, so it was a perfect way to stay inside and relax. The prices are on par with other such hotels in the area (pricey but not exorbitant). We visited at the end of August, beginning of September, and there was plenty of rain on those days, but during almost all days there were also sunny times. The weather could change in an instant, though, so if you see a good moment, take all the pictures and do all the swimming! However, the rain is very pleasant there, and I realized that one can snorkel very well even in rain. The temperature was always perfect, of course.

Great service from bar staff’chandana,Asela ,Aalif,Naïf,Saddam,Jasica,Masud,very friendly and Attentive, very nice guys here and all the price from the bar is very cheaper and any times if you want something on the room they bring you in your room if you want something and they don’t have on the bar or in the restaurant they invent for you everything what you want
