The water villa is beyond imagination-spacious space, modern design, and the most surprising thing is that you can jump directly from the terrace into the blue lagoon. It's hard to change the experience of having breakfast by the private pool every morning and looking at the gradual water. The coral reef on the island is close at hand, and when snorkeling, we encounter schools of colorful fish, which is like being in an aquarium. Elite's service is perfect. From the detailed introduction at the time of check-in to the thoughtful itinerary every day, he can always predict our needs. He also carefully prepared honeymoon champagne and floating breakfast, and the dolphin trip he booked for us was the highlight of the journey, and the picture of chasing dolphins in the sunset in the Indian Ocean will always be treasured. The dining experience is also amazing, especially the delicious food in Aqua Restaurant and Beach Club Restaurant, as well as a variety of cocktails. Elite can always reserve the best place for us. Fallu Fuji Island itself is a paradise on earth, and the professional service of Elite makes this beautiful sublimation. Magical repeat visit - exceptional once again

We loved it the first time, and we loved it even more the second. This visit, we changed from a water villa to a beach villa and found no difference in quality of accommodation - equally stunning. Thank you Nafeez - it was invariably immaculate, with thoughtful touches such as pillow choices and bed decor. You had a hard act to follow after Irman - and how lovely it was to see him again too! The real source of absolute service guarantee, however, was the inimitable Elite. Our returning Super Host. By name, by nature - the absolute best. 12 nights was still not quite enough to get through the full range of marvellous food options and quality, extensive wine menu. Chef Moreno and Head Sommelier Joseph lead their teams with visible passion, knowledge and skill. Thank you to so many - top Chef Fernando, with the fish delicacies on tap, Sheelam who delivered up superb pasta lunches, Roy and Yasir who always ensured a warm welcome at Aqua, the team in the Beach Grill who rustled up steak and salad with extraordinary ease. But more on steak later… For Cappucinos, cold Cokes and Cabanas - we salute you, Team Pool Bar! Led by the joyful Kasun, everyone was so keen to ensure we always had whatever requirement may have been on the horizon. We found Sairam, Zunam, Akhil and Aniket to be watchful caretakers of our every need. A mean Margarita was no problem for the fabulous Ishika. Pool bar happiness was always a given, especially at sunset win the beautiful bats swooping over us. But the special occasions for us were the evenings at Meditteraneo. Beautiful venue, impeccable service and some off the scale Wyagu. Tomahawk, cauliflower gratin and De Toren will stay with us as an abiding memory. We found all the sommeliers just fantastic - the return of Ram matched by the enthusiastic new team of Sean and Supreeti. Joseph imparts his deep knowledge to create a real dynamic between the food and wine experience. Calories in, calories out! The walks around the gorgeous island, early or late, star spotting (of the only kind that matters) and seeing fish beyond your colour comprehension are such delights to work off the gastronomical fun. Nature is in abundance here and the more you look, the more you see. On the rare occasions we had a couple of unwelcome interactions with nature (due to me forgetting the insect repellent), Asghar at Reception sorted out an immediate cream dispensation from the on site Doc. As I said, nothing here is too much trouble. The Emerald F team work tirelessly to provide every guest with a unique experience. They are the difference. The magic of Emerald Faarufushi - the best resort by far!

Returning for a second time to the luxury and tranquility of Emeralds Faarufushi Resort & Spa, we found it to be just as magical as we remembered. Once again, the Emeralds team upheld their high standard of excellence and from the moment we arrived at the airport, we were met with warmth and made to feel like VIPs. We were delighted to see some familiar faces during our stay on this little Island of paradise. The house reef was impressive with an abundance of fish and regenerated colourful coral. Direct access to the reef from the pier head is a real bonus, which, since our last visit, has had additional safety measures installed for those less confident snorkelers. The staff (champions) made our stay so special. All front of house champions knew our names, always greeting us with warm smiles and genuine enthusiasm to ensure our experience was the best. Exec team members checked in with us most days, keen to learn what we had done that day and seeking our views on how to enhance the Emerald experience. The range of scrumptious meals in each restaurant suited our palate perfectly. For lunch, we ate most days at the beach grill - delicious food served alongside an impressive range of wines expertly chosen by the ever present sommeliers (all restaurants). For dinner, we explored the other restaurants, all offering absolutely incredible food. Just like our first visit to Faarufushi, Head chef Moreno kindly created an off menu dish. Naturally, it was exceptional - a gesture that speaks volumes about our experience. Also, in recognition of this being our second visit to the island, we were treated to a meal on the beach. Love heart shape in the sand, twinkling lights and flowers on the table - this truly touched us and filled our hearts with warmth and gratitude. We were blown away by the space of our beach bungalow. The design both indoors & outdoors was tasteful & spacious. The coverings on the sun beds, daybeds (in pool area too) were well maintained. Particularly impressed with the enclosed area of the bathroom area - a glass wall/door separated the outer area of the garden. No mosquitos - no bites! While the entire resort team was exceptional, we would like to extend special recognition to the following individuals for their exemplary service and for making our experience truly memorable: Aslan looked after us with great care, thoughtfully addressing our enquiries and checking in with us daily. Joseph, Ram, Supreeti and Sean for sharing their expertise in the world of wines - a real eye-opener! Priyanker graciously looked after us at the Aqua and Mediterraneo restaurants. Her attention to detail and playful banter made us feel completely at ease. Wayan for taking excellent care of our room. And finally Rao for taking the time to talk to us, listening to our feedback and making us feel valued and important. We had a truly wonderful stay at Emerald Faarufushi resort. The intimate and family-like atmosphere, combined with the benefits of a small island, made it a perfect and peaceful escape 🩵 Above all, the incredibly friendly and welcoming staff are what we value the most – they are simply amazing and truly made our stay unforgettable. Their warmth and hospitality are the heart of this island.🫶 The food was also outstanding, with a wide variety of restaurants to choose from. Our favorite was the Asian restaurant, but a special highlight was when the Italian head chef Moreno personally prepared his signature carbonara pasta for us 👌 If you’re looking for peace, intimacy, and genuinely friendly service on a small island, we can’t recommend this place enough.
