Our stay at Jumeirah Maldives was truly a fantastic and memorable experience from beginning to end.
From the moment we arrived in the Maldives, we were met at the airport and personally escorted to the speedboat for the transfer to the island. Upon arrival, the staff welcomed us warmly with smiles, music, and dancing, immediately making us feel special and setting the tone for the rest of our stay.
A special thank you goes to our villa concierge, Bond, who was exceptional throughout our visit. He was always courteous, attentive, and eager to help with anything we needed. He arranged our dinner reservations, coordinated activities, and often met us after snorkeling or diving with a golf cart to transport us comfortably back to our villa.
We stayed in a beach villa, which was spacious, beautifully designed, and extremely comfortable. The bed provided some of the best sleep we’ve had while traveling. Our housekeeper was outstanding and paid attention to every detail, even organizing our personal items on the counters to keep everything neat and tidy.
The dining experience was exceptional. We chose the breakfast and dinner package, and every meal was outstanding. The variety and quality of the fine dining options exceeded our expectations. The wait staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. Within just a few days, they remembered our preferred coffees, drinks, and favorite menu selections, making every meal feel personalized.
The General Manager was also very visible, pleasant, courteous, and genuinely interested in ensuring guests had a wonderful stay. The resort hosted several evening cocktail receptions with live music, which were a wonderful way to relax and socialize while enjoying the beautiful surroundings.
Our wives thoroughly enjoyed the spa, visiting twice for body treatments and facials. They described the experience as relaxing, luxurious, and one of the highlights of the trip.
As scuba divers, we were particularly impressed with the dive operation. We completed four two-tank dive excursions, and each one was amazing. The water was warm and crystal clear, and we encountered an incredible variety of marine life, including rays, sharks, and turtles. Our dive guides, Lewis and Margo, were outstanding—professional, knowledgeable, and focused on safety while ensuring everyone had a great experience. They took excellent care of our equipment, and we appreciated the coffee and snacks provided after each dive. The boat captain and crew were equally professional and contributed greatly to the experience.
We also participated in a sunset cruise and a dolphin cruise, both of which were fantastic. One of the highlights of the entire trip was watching a large pod of dolphins swim alongside the boat for nearly half an hour.
We stayed for nine nights, and the time passed far too quickly. On our final morning, we enjoyed one last wonderful breakfast before our bags were collected from our villa and transported to the boat. The staff gathered at the dock to personally see us off, providing a warm and heartfelt farewell.
In all, this was an unforgettable experience. The level of service we encountered was beyond anything we have experienced on previous trips. We originally thought this might be a once-in-a-lifetime visit, but after such an extraordinary stay, we are already hoping to return someday. Jumeirah Maldives exceeded our expectations in every way and created memories that will last a lifetime.
