“Superb holiday”

Beautiful island….we chose all inclusive which was fab as not only was the east market buffet amazing there were plenty of other restaurant options to dine at also. With special lunches also laid on. The food was exceptional. The staff were incredible a special mention to Sangith, Ravi, khan and also the transport guys always chatty and fun. We stayed in a water villa which was spacious and gorgeous. When we return we would like to try the beach villas. We loved the size of the island. Hubby swam with the whale shark and ticked that off his bucket list. We cannot fault this island it was superb 😀

we have had an amazing stay at lux south ari atoll ! My wife & I stayed 4 nights. We had a water bungalow with pool. The island is very pretty (not too small) with a fantastic landscape. The staff is very nice all of them ! smilling always to make you feel special. Good food. I strongly advise to take all inclusive. The beaches / Sand bank are amazing.. we loved it and will hopefully go back !! Bravo all the team..!!

We returned to Lux after visiting post Covid back in 2021. This time we stayed in a water villa with our children now aged 9 & 6. The water villa didn’t disappoint, as a family of four in one room it is sometimes a snug fit but there was plenty of space for all of us with the children each having their own beds. We received great communication prior to our visit regarding our questions over location of the villas that would be most suitable for the children, booking of our boat trips and securing most of our dinner bookings. This took the pressure off once we’d arrived knowing we had a booking each evening as it’s a very busy time of year. We really couldn’t fault the hotel, the service from all staff was amazing, everyone seems so happy and content. Special mentions to the buggy drivers Shawcut and Mofizul who were so attentive with our children, Shawcut often ferrying my son and his new friends up and down the island. They also really tried to help us find the elusive message in a bottles each day. Khan, Muthu and Arun at Veli bar soon got to know our favourite tipples and made sure we never had an empty glass! Anusuya at East was a delight every morning at breakfast and Alan who served us at Teppanyaki was fantastic. Dhain was brilliant on our boat trip which resulted in us seeing a whale shark, manta rays, eagle rays and a turtle. He also got all of this footage on his go pro after we broke ours on the second day! My one tiny gripe would be how difficult the message in a bottles are to find! Not a big deal but we looked daily, early on in the day and our final day I spent 90 mins walking around in the rain scaling the island from west to east and back still with no luck. Maybe more of a treasure hunt with clues would make things easier! This being said If you are considering staying at Lux don’t hesitate in booking, you’ll have an amazing stay!
