Makunudu Island lies in the North Malé Atoll of the Maldives surrounded by turquoise lagoon, coral reef and open ocean. Transfer time from Malé International Airport: approximately 45 minutes by speedboat.

36 bungalows, all with open-air garden shower room, air conditioning and ceiling fan, writing desk, rocking chair, pull-out minibar, tea making facilities, bottled water, slippers, hair dryer, complimentary WiFi and in-room safe.

Beach Bungalows are 40 sqm and dotted along the edges of the island, with the beach lagoon a short walk away.

Deluxe Beach Bungalows are 50 sqm, with a private canopied patio and views out towards the ocean. These bungalows also benefit from a coffee machine with capsules, plus daily afternoon canapes delivered to your bungalow, and a complimentary daily sundowner per person at the Sunset Bar.Standard Beach Bungalow - Package Inclusion at Full-Board:

“Robinson Crusoe Feeling at it's best!”

I definitely felt like Robinson Crusoe! This small & beautiful Island ist the best medicine to destress and to fill up all the lost energy. There are about 80 guests on this Island and I swear, if you don't want to see anyone, you don't have to. Outside of your room, you have a place just for yourself to chillout, with the most beautiful view! There is a bar that serves delicous snacks and drinks. In the Restaurant you have the opportunity for breakfast, lunch and Dinner. The staff on the Island are so deeply friendly, always with a smile on their face. I booked some Yoga lessons with Sue. What a privilege to have one to one Yoga lessons with such a beautiful Soul. I definitely recommend Yoga with Sue. My husband advanced his diving experience at the diving center, " Dive Ocean Makunudu Island ". They have all equipment that you need for diving and snorkeling. The instructors, Ricardo and Leandro are very experienced. My Husband felt very safe while diving with them. What I really worship, ist the effort that this Island does to Keep the Coral reef protected. They even have the opportunity to work with an marine biologist to safe, protect and increase ocean life. I deeply have respect for these actions. We will definitely come back!

Makunudu Island is a true paradise. We had a fantastic experience, thanks not only to the island's beauty but also to the welcome we received. The resort staff is very friendly, especially the dive center team. Susan, Leandro, Chiara, and the other members of the center are fantastic people. Their passion is contagious, and they make all the experiences even more magical. I especially want to thank Leandro for the wonderful diving experience. It was a great feeling for me to be able to observe the island's magnificent reef from a completely new perspective.

The island, the resort, and the entire hotel staff were wonderful, everything was perfect on our trip to Makenudu! The heart of this experience was the diving center staff. Susan and Leandro are special... with passion and great professionalism. They are fantastic people, and without them the trip wouldn't have been so perfect! Congratulations to Chiara, a brilliant marine biologist. Thank you so much, and a big hug to the team at the super diving center! Highly recommended!!! Monica And Claudio
