“No joke , best island I have ever been to”

No joke, this might be the best vacation spot I have ever been to. Incredible beach views from the villas, fantastic service from the staff , activities like jet skiing, foil surfing, and scuba diving . The food was varied and divine, and the environment was clean and professionally taken care of . Rooms were clean and very well designed (the bathrooms outdoor design was cool too) . I would not bother going to any other island , this is the place to be

Is is an wonderful resort, in an wonderful place. Starting from hospitality, the beauty of the place, the very cured details, beaches, restaurants, villas, excursions, every thing included was amazing. The food was so fresh and very delicious. It was an wonderful resort and wonderful holiday. Thank you Meeru Resort. Hope to se you again in the future.

“Fab time in Meeru”

My partner & I had a fab time here at Meeru even though the weather was stormy initially, but started to clear up around 12th Dec onwards. Not wanting to repeat all the good points other guests have mentioned. But can confirm we were told the adult Northern end bar/restaurant will be rebuilt after xmas so will be closed for a few months. They are renovating the jacuzzi ocean villas (700's) , we looked in one and they are refreshing the furniture/flooring, looked quite smart. They said they were also refreshing the outdoor terrace area, so will look smarter once done. Although we stayed in one (709) which hadnt been done up & it was lovely. Very low lighting though & please give the new ones more hooks dotted around :) Special thanks to our room attendant Kushan (sorry if spelt wrong), who made sure we wanted for nothing & did an excellent job. The resort itself is very picturesque , the staff all do a great job. Restaurants were great. My partner is gluten free & was looked after by the chefs, & there are also GF options around the buffet areas with everything labelled. We were all inclusive so made sure we tried them all. All lovely & service fab. Special thanks to our waiters in the Maalan buffet - Naime (aka Naymar). Also his colleague Ithaaf who we noticed never stopped & was very efficient :) and not forgetting Saif at the adult pool/A mare & Vila restaurant, Bista, & the other girls there - their service skills were excellent (thanks for the Milkshake service which we are already missing lol). We visited the overwater spa twice because it was beautiful with great massages, & we intended to go a 3rd time but ran out of time. I found snorkelling quite difficult due to the underlying current so was hard to stay in one place & it was quite choppy. Still saw lots of sea life though. In all, we would love to return if our finances ever allow, & would recommend Meeru any time. Thank you all. Denise & Neil.
