“An unforgettable romantic getaway at Niyama Private Islands”

We spent a wonderful vacation as a couple on Niyama Private Islands. The island scenery is breathtaking, the water villas are stunning with direct access to the sea. We enjoyed fantastic snorkeling trips around the island, the marine life was amazing. The staff are friendly, attentive and always ready to help. The food was delicious and the atmosphere is peaceful and private. It was a perfect Maldives trip for couples, highly recommended!

“Heaven on earth”

We first visited Niyama four years ago and completely fell in love with it. When it came time to choose where to spend our honeymoon, there was nowhere else we wanted to return to. Somehow, our second stay was even more special than the first. The resort itself is an absolute dream: breathtaking surroundings, beautiful villas, pristine beaches and an extraordinary sense of peace. But what truly sets this place apart is its people. The kindness of every single member of staff is what turns an incredible resort into a place you genuinely become attached to. Everyone goes out of their way to make you feel welcome and cared for, and it always feels sincere. A very special thank you to Meimei, the wonderful marine biologist, for sharing her passion with us during a once in a lifetime turtle hatching moment; to Laurent, the manager, for his warmth and attention throughout our stay; to Shammu, our private Thakuru, who took such thoughtful care of us every day; and to Sigi at the Surf Shack, who we always loved spending time with. And we are missing many! The food is also excellent, with great quality and variety throughout the resort. Even after a long stay, we were still looking forward to every meal. We came back with very high expectations after our first trip and somehow left loving this place even more. There are many beautiful resorts in the Maldives, but what makes this one so special is the people behind it. Thank you for making our honeymoon so memorable. We already know we will be back.
