We recently spent a wonderful family vacation at Oblu Xperience Ailafushi, and it truly exceeded our expectations. The resort is beautifully situated on a picturesque atoll, offering that postcard-perfect Maldivian scenery. We stayed in the spacious beach family villas, which were perfect for us—they feature separate bedrooms and bathrooms for the kids, giving everyone their own space, and are located right on the beach, just steps from the ocean.
The resort boasts a massive main pool which is perfect for both swimming and joining in on the daily entertainment/animations. One huge plus was that we never had an issue finding available sunbeds or comfortable lounge areas around the property.
Outstanding Dining & Service
We opted for the All-Inclusive package, which includes three meals a day at the XElements restaurant. The variety is incredible, featuring live stations for European, International, Asian, Maldivian, and Indian cuisine. They also have dedicated kids' food stations and a fantastic, temperature-controlled room just for desserts and fresh fruit. Everything we tasted was absolutely delicious, but what truly made our dining experience special was the fantastic service. A special, heartfelt thank you goes to Sari, who took exceptional care of our group during every single meal with so much warmth and attention.
Between meals, guests of all ages can grab snacks at x360, where fresh popcorn and roasted nuts are always available, and the bartenders expertly craft beautiful, colorful cocktails and mocktails.
Relaxation & Activities
For relaxation, the SPA is nestled in a quiet, lush green spot right in the heart of the island, offering rituals for everyone. I highly recommend the Balinese massage—it was pure bliss. For thrill-seekers, the water sports center offers fantastic optional excursions for diving and snorkeling.
A Paradise for Kids 🧸🎨
If you are traveling with children, the Kids Club is an absolute dream. The wonderful staff—Nahu, Sam, and Hanu—kept the kids thoroughly entertained with brilliant activities. They do the standard coloring and block-building, but also unique activities like making bracelets from leaves, decorating coconuts, guided island walks, and planting greenery. The club also has its own shallow pool, so definitely pack a swimsuit for them!
The children can even have lunch right at the club under the staff's care, enjoying the same great kids' menu served in the main restaurant. For older kids, there is an arcade room with skill games available for an extra fee. My children absolutely loved their time there—they would literally run to the kids club right after breakfast, and it was hard to convince them to leave at the end of the day!

Oblu Xperience Ailafushi is the ultimate destination for a stress-free, luxurious, and fun-filled family holiday. We cannot recommend it enough and would love to return!
