We had such an amazing family time at Ozen Bolifushi Resort! It was truly an outstanding experience from start to finish. The service was absolutely top-notch, every detail was taken care of, and it was a magical celebration for us as a couple, especially as we marked my early 40th birthday. Our little girls had the time of their lives as well!
A massive shout-out to our incredible, caring, and detail-focused butler, Marjan. Not only did she understand all of our needs, but her communication was outstanding, she was able to adjust our itinerary seamlessly and made the girls feel truly seen and special. A huge thank you to Leroy, the island manager, from the moment we met him as he greeted us off the boat, he was just an amazing presence. Leeroy was so approachable, warm, and invested in making us feel welcome. His leadership was evident throughout the whole team, and every part of the island thrived under his guidance.
Michelle at Soyi restaurant was incredible, the whole experience at Saffron is a must visit and Arey & Riffath were amazing! Durai was amazing in serving us from breakfast all the way to dinner in Soyi. Zaara took care of us beautifully during dinner at Vista del Mar, and the kids’ club team (Dhimu, Saha, Fruty, Jayelene, Annie)was phenomenal, our girls loved every minute.
Zain, our room cleaner, was just delightful!Every day he surprised us with fun towel characters, and on my birthday, he put together a towel birthday cake and ran a beautiful bath. It was such a special touch.
We must mention Shiva, who gave me the incredible sound bathing experience, led the ginger drink workshop, and also performed my husband’s incredible massage, it was simply transformative.
Also need to massively mention Mariana in the Spa. The best and I mean the best massage ever! Her listening skills to them execute that through touch really resulted in every ache massaged with 5* care! Her presence is calm and professional but also of a nature of a long lost friend.
We would wholeheartedly recommend Ozen Bolifushi to anyone planning a trip to the Maldives. We truly hope to come back in 10 years to celebrate my 50th birthday here. If you’re considering a getaway to the Maldives, this is the place to stay.
I hope you get the chance to meet each and every member of the team. I’m sorry if I’ve missed any names, but every single person, from landscaping to maintenance, to everyone on the island and in the gym, was simply phenomenal.
