In the southern part of the Maldives, on a private island called Maamutaa. Access is via a 55-minute direct flight (90 minutes indirect) from the capital, Malé, to Kooddoo Airport, followed by a short 15 minute speedboat ride to the resort.

Beach Villas offers 200 sq m of living space and direct access to the sandy beach via a secluded pathway, and an indoor-outdoor bathroom with two showers and a tub. These villas have 1 king-size bed, sleeping a maximum of 2 adults.

“Honeymoon Booking Mishandled”

I booked a 7-night honeymoon stay in an Overwater Pool Villa and received a confirmed reservation. 10 days later, I was told the villa was no longer available and that I would be placed in a Beach Pool Villa instead, with “no extra cost.” How is that acceptable when I booked and paid for an Overwater Pool Villa? After expressing my disappointment, they then offered 4 nights in a Beach Pool Villa and 3 nights in an Overwater Pool Villa. Still no compensation or benefits. I even asked if they could adjust it to 4 nights in each villa to balance the experience, but they wasnt able to add a single extra night (I would of course pay for the extra night) I ended up canceling the booking. For a resort marketed as luxury, this level of customer service was extremely disappointing. A confirmed honeymoon booking should not be downgraded without solutions that respect the guest’s expectations.

Had a great time at this resort. The staff were very friendly. The all inclusive package is as advertised with no hesitation on service. We were well fed never thirsty. They have numerous enhancements that we were never pressured to take up, from meals to water sports like jet skinning. One we did take up was a couples massage by Barbra and Adrienne, worth every cent! Thanks for giving my family a experience of a lifetime Pullman Maldives
