“Great new resort with attention to details from staff”

Before our trip, I looked for reviews trying to find answers to the little things I was worried about — especially the water around the villa and going with kids — and couldn’t really find them. So for anyone considering Rah Gili, my short answer is: book it! We went on a girls’ trip 4 adults with two kids aged 9 and 11 in a the two bedrooms villa, and honestly had such a good time. Airport pick-up and drop-off were super smooth, and the boat was very luxurious and comfortable. The villa slide is amaaaazing 😂 Definitely a highlight! My biggest concern was how deep the water would be around the villa, but even at high tide we found it very easy to swim around, and the stairs from the sea back into the villa were easy too. The villa was very clean, housekeeping came up to three times a day, and having a guard nearby made us feel very safe. The FOOD was superb — honestly some of the best I’ve had in the Maldives! Chef Nishesh and Chef Sachin went above and beyond. They would ask us what we wanted for our next meal, made us extra tiramisu because we loved it 😂, celebrated my daughter’s 12th birthday and even surprised us with a farewell cake on our last day. A very special mention to Camelle, the manager of the Activity Center, who we were lucky to have as our snorkeling guide. My daughter had a panic attack and Camelle was incredible at calming her down and making her feel safe. I felt completely comfortable having her with us and the kids in the water. By the end, it honestly felt like we had gone snorkeling with a friend. 🤍 Wafa, who looked after us throughout our stay, was wonderful and made everything so easy. Having a lady taking care of us was an extra bonus on a girls’ trip. Mathew, the resort manager, was also very present and would always stop when he saw us to check that we were happy with everything. And the perfect ending — on our departure day, we watched around 4–5 groups of dolphins from our villa for almost TWO HOURS! 🐬 I’ve honestly never seen anything like it. Such a special way to end the trip. Rah Gili is on the quieter side, so it’s perfect if you want a peaceful, relaxing holiday rather than a busy resort. For a newly opened resort, they’ve already reached an impressive level of service. We enjoyed it to the max and will visit again if I can

Our stay at Rah Gili Maldives was truly unforgettable and easily one of the best resort experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, everything felt incredibly personal, thoughtful, and beautifully taken care of. The resort itself is absolutely stunning, but what truly made our stay so special was the incredible team behind it. A huge and very well-deserved shout-out to the resort manager, Mathew. His hospitality was exceptional. He was always present, welcoming, and made sure we were happy and enjoying every part of our stay. You can really see how much he cares about creating an amazing experience for his guests, and that warmth is reflected throughout the entire resort. Our guide, Wafa, was absolutely wonderful. She took such good care of us throughout the trip and made everything feel completely effortless. She was always available, attentive, kind, and incredibly helpful with anything we needed. A very special shout-out as well to Camille, our guide during the snorkeling trip. She made the whole experience so much fun and memorable. She was friendly, patient, knowledgeable, and made sure everyone felt comfortable and safe throughout the trip. We also have to give a special mention to Chef Sachin and Chef Nishesh. The food throughout our stay was amazing, and they went above and beyond to make every meal something to look forward to. Their attention to detail, warmth, and willingness to accommodate our preferences made every dining experience feel extra special. What really sets Rah Gili apart is the people. Everyone made us feel so welcomed and cared for, and the service was incredibly warm and personal. There is a level of thoughtfulness here that is difficult to find, even at the most beautiful resorts. Thank you to the entire Rah Gili team for making our Maldives trip so special. We left with the most beautiful memories and already miss being there. We would come back in a heartbeat. 🤍🌴

“I’ve been into Maldives for several times”

The place is good. Artificial island, so still limited sea life, but there alot dolphines come to the island everyday and this was nice. Food variety can be more, howeve restaurants service is extremely perfect and people are friendly. The diving center or the center of the sea activities was not good. Two European ladies were trying to charge me more since i was with the kids and they were asking me to take extra towing toys like banana or doughnuts and i told them it’s not safe for the kids they said either you take it or we will not allow you to go and i booked it in advance but they were trying to do an upselling, in addition, they were impolite. Also fishing trips was not similar to what we used to have in Maldives.
