We spent three nights in a sunset-facing overwater villa, and overall, we had a fantastic stay at this resort. The beautiful surroundings, impressive marine life, excellent food, and especially the outstanding service from Jaya and her team made our vacation truly memorable.
Location and Transfers
The resort is conveniently located just around a 40-minute boat ride from Malé Airport. Upon arrival, the resort arranges a dedicated ferry transfer, and the timing can be coordinated directly with the resort. This is a significant advantage compared with resorts that require an additional domestic flight or seaplane transfer, offering much more flexibility when planning your arrival and departure.
The Overwater Villa and Marine Life
The sunset-facing overwater villa was absolutely beautiful, with stunning ocean views. As a relatively new resort, the interior design and finishes were noticeably more impressive than those of many other resorts we have visited in the Maldives.
The water slide was great fun, although one practical tip: be careful when the tide is low, as landing in the water can be a little painful!
One of our favorite experiences was observing the marine life right outside our villa. Many sea creatures gathered around the deck at night, while the lagoon was home to manta rays, small sharks, and a wide variety of fish. The marine ecosystem was impressive, and the lagoon felt wonderfully alive.
Quiet Atmosphere and Noise Management
One thing we particularly appreciated was the resort’s overall noise management. Most areas were very peaceful, and at night, the dominant sounds were simply the ocean, the sea breeze, and nature. It was an incredibly relaxing atmosphere.
There is some localized noise near the sand-dredging operation, but its impact is limited. You generally only notice it when you get closer. Our first villa was relatively close to the operation, and we could hear a faint engine noise during the daytime. The volume was not particularly loud, but it could affect the experience for light sleepers or anyone sensitive to noise.
We contacted the resort, and the team responded quickly and arranged a room change. Our replacement villa was wonderfully quiet, with nothing but the natural sounds of the sea and breeze. The issue did not affect the rest of our stay, and we really appreciated how promptly and professionally the team handled it. If you are particularly sensitive to noise, it may be worth mentioning this preference when booking.
Room Cleanliness and Housekeeping
The villa was very clean, with housekeeping provided twice daily. We occasionally noticed a few mosquitoes, but overall, insect control was well managed, and we barely needed to use mosquito repellent.
Outstanding Service from Jaya and Her Team
Jaya and her team deserve special recognition. They were attentive, responsible, and highly efficient throughout our stay. Daily activities were thoughtfully planned, buggy transfers arrived promptly, and restaurant reservations and excursions were coordinated seamlessly.
Even when we encountered a few issues during our stay, the team acted quickly to resolve them. What stood out most was their genuine concern for our comfort and overall vacation experience. We felt that our feedback was taken seriously and that the team genuinely wanted us to have the best possible stay.
The hospitality extended throughout the resort. Every staff member we passed greeted us with a smile, creating a warm, welcoming, and consistently positive atmosphere.
Excellent Food and Dining
The restaurants were very good, and our favorite was the Italian restaurant. The steak was a particularly pleasant surprise, with excellent meat quality.
Breakfast was also impressive, with a generous selection of international dishes served through a combination of à la carte ordering and buffet options. There was plenty of variety, making breakfast enjoyable throughout our stay.
Excellent Value for Money
As a newly opened resort, it currently offers excellent value for money. The rates are very reasonable considering the quality of the villas, beautiful surroundings, marine life, dining options, and level of service.
In our opinion, the resort is particularly suitable for couples looking for a relaxing and romantic getaway. We felt that our stay was truly worth the money and offered an outstanding overall experience. As the resort becomes more established and its facilities and operations continue to mature, there may also be potential for prices to increase in the future, making the current value even more attractive.
Overall Experience
We had a wonderful three-night stay and were impressed by the villa design, stunning sunset views, abundant marine life, excellent dining, convenient airport transfers, peaceful atmosphere, and strong value for money.
Although we experienced a few issues initially, Jaya and her team resolved them quickly and professionally. Their responsiveness and genuine care made a real difference to our experience.
