Our local fell-good-manager Nazia was always around making sure that we have everything we need and more. Big thank you again! The facility itself is not the newest anymore but I think that's actually good because everything is well orchestrated. From preparation of the food to the organisaton of daily events and activities such as tours and water sports. We enjoyed our time and will definitely consider to return at some point in the future! Royal island is an island paradise. Superbly run and very hospitable staff, you are made welcome from the very moment you step off the boat. The resort is a bit dated however it is incredibly well maintained and the Villas are very positioned to allow you some sea some shade and some privacy. The water sports and the dive centre are well organized. We did the Manta experience at Hanifaru Bay which is well worth it but be prepared to swim the current can be quite strong. The food at the main Makaana restaurant is exceptional and varied and there are different themes every night I would however suggest that they improve the breakfast selection. Dinner or lunch at Raabondhi is highly recommended as the food and service is excellent. The Boli bar is a great place to hang out and the staff especially Agus are very good. I would recommend that they could upgrade the bar snacks menu but overall a cool place to chill after a day in the sun. We had 10 days as a family at Royal Island and would highly recommend it. Don’t forget the mozzie spray though 😁 Read less
