The check in process took less than 5 minutes and we were shown to our room. The room was a decent size and came with an outdoor bathroom, mini bar with drinks and snacks. There was also a balcony with beach access. For breakfast and dinner, the main buffet was open with a large range of different food. For lunch, full board guests can have 5 restaurants included in their package and for all meals, complementary soft drinks and juices are also included. On the island, there is an excellent range of activities. The watersports were good, however the time for full board guests is quite short, with only 30 minutes a day for one room. The pool is big and has many chairs around it to sit on, so there is no need to reserve them, unlike many other places. The staff will also come round with complimentary watermelon slices for all guests. The beach is really nice with many places to sit and places to watch fish, sharks and rays at night. However, the actively participating entertainment is limited, with one activity a day and one talk a day. Overall, the experience was amazing and it was everything advertised on the website. There is not much to be improved on, maybe the biggest point being more transport around the island as some rooms are a long way from the main area, where most activities happen. This place is amazing and we will definitely consider coming back! Read less

The over-water bungalow was very clean with comfortable beds and beautiful views. It was so relaxing to go to the pool and beach and all of the staff was amazing. Ali and Shafeeg at Anchorage Bar and pool were very attentive and very helpful. The breakfast buffet is great with lots of choices and wonderful pastries. Sea Salt and Baan Thai both had great food and special thanks to Ana, Sadun and Phailin! We did lots of watersports activities including snorkeling/sandbar, parasailing, paddleboards, kayaking and dolphin cruise and they were all great! Chef Max and Chef Chamara and their team was great. The staff took time to say hello everyday. We did water aerobics, tennis, gym, karaoke and sip and paint with the Recreation Team and they were great and it made our trip really fun. A very special thank you to all of the management team for making our stay extra special. We will definitely be back again soon. Read less

The only thing that can be better is if they can designate a place for couples because the newlyweds are more comfortable without kids around. Also, scarecrows can be helpful with the birds flying around creating trouble for the house guests. It was overall a wonderful experience to stay at the water villa. It’s private and a perfect getaway. Read less

Sheraton Full Moon Maldives was good but not great. The staff are excellent and the Beach Front rooms excellent, however a few things let the overall experience down. 2 of the restaurants were closed and there was only the option for a la carte dining. This meant there were always very tired young children in the restaurants every night. A lot of ill considerate guests would leave towels / clothing on beach front cabanas all day without using them, one family did this the entire week we were there - maybe Sheraton could place some time limits to half a day only. Having a 30 minute limit on non motorised water sports activity was rather limiting. The scuba diving whilst expensive ($100 USD per dive) was above average, I spent $650 for 5 dives including partial gear hire. Who is this resort good for, families with young / teenagers. Read less
