Wonderful Service, a big thumb up for Niki and her lovely colleagues! The resort is over 50 years old, but you won’t feel any outdated facilities and furniture, everything makes every penny worth it. We spent a week at the Sheraton Full Moon & Spa which was just about right. If we stayed any longer, I am sure we would have put on even more pounds with the great food and drinks available. We went Half Board (ie breakfast and dinner included) which turned out to be a great deal with a range of restaurants and lots of daily activities included along with airport transfers. We were also happily surprised with upgraded rooms upon arrival (went from a standard deluxe rooms to an Ocean Villa with plunge pool)! Bonvoy Gold Elite does come in handy at times! The bonus which comes with the villa is you get your own bicycles to use on the island without charge. Also a complimentary professional photo shoot (one photo is free - if want more need to pay) per villa was very welcome as we had not thought about getting professional photos before the trip. Whilst the Sheraton is one of the earliest resorts in the Maldives, it doesn’t feel that way at all and has decent facilities for land and water sports plus a good range of restaurants and bars. The food quality was excellent. The beaches are pristine and exactly as we imagined with fine white sand and very clear waters around. All the staff were friendly and helpful throughout - the Shine Spa was a great experience as well. Highly recommended if you want a resort which is family friendly and close to the main airport. First time in Maldives and solo trip. Stayed 4 nights at Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort and SPA. I had thought the solo trip would be boring. But the activities were full of surprises. I felt time flew so fast. During the 4 nights, I did the French ball game, the coconut palm tree climbing, the water palate, the hand-making waving activity, trivia knowledge etc. The staff Addy was so nice, friendly and caring. He helped me take pictures and videos which makes the trip memorable. Will be back for sure in the future. Btw, it's only 15 mins speedboat from the airport. Read less

From arrival to departure it was an absolute magical experience. The staff are very professional and attentive. Lots of dining options available, a beautiful pool and beach. The rooms are incredible espessialy the beach cabana with private pool, the outdoor bathroom was a dream, showering under the starts was truly special. Niki was a star, having direct communication with her made it even more amazing! Would definitely recommend a stay here! Read less

After our vacations in 2021 and 2022 we stayed in this resort third time in May 2025. Sheraton Full Moon Resort and SPA is a 20m boat ride from Hulhumale island(The airport island) in Maldives. This actually was one of the main reasons back in 2021 for our first stay to pick up this resort. Especially in times of pandemic etc in the world being 20 minutes boat ride away from international airport especially when traveling with small kid was a big plus. For me as a scuba diver to have couple of great dive sites which in my opinion are among the best in Maldives which are located a short boat ride from the resort is also another big plus.(even though this time i devoted all my time to family) In our previous stays we stayed in a Water Bungalow. Since we were well familiar with different alternatives for rooms this time we stayed in a garden cottage. We selected this type of room for this eight night stay since we wanted to maintain our kid's access to the ocean from the sandy beach(unlike through a ladder in the Water Bungalow) which in our opinion is better for him to feel more confident while he is learning to swim. We had a full board booking(this i recommend especially to families since there is no alternative food source on the island other than hotels restaurants which is very typical for Maldives) The Hotel has many restaurants for different tastes. Other than the main restaurant which serves "open buffet" breakfast, lunch and dinner, there are possibilities to have ale carte lunch and dinners in Anchorage bar, Italian, Asian, Thai, Mexican and Indian restaurants. With a full board booking one has three course and beverage allowance in Anchorage, Asian and Indian restaurants if like ourselves one does not like open buffet concept. However full board booking only provides a 60 USD/person voucher in Italian and Thai restaurants. Expenses above that value are considered as extra. Chef Maksat and his deputies(among whom we know Hussein) provide very high quality food and they also are very responsive to hotel guest's wishes. The service in the restaurants and bars is very good. We would like to thank bar manager Amrit from Nepal and waiter Zahar in Anchorage bar for their extraordinary service. We enjoyed the live music at the Anchorage bar.( Both of the bands playing.) Shine SPA which is located in the resort is operated very professionally. Some of the resources in that SPA such as steam bath, pool are free of charge for hotel guests. We had massages and very satisfied with quality. The resort provides to guests from Russia a "dedicated connector" since there are guest who are not able to speak fluent English. Our dedicated connector was Anastasia. Since i speak English and solve all our problems during trips i did not think that we need her support. However then i understood that Anastasia does not work like a translator but she actually solves any problem one might have during stay promptly. Whenever we were not happy with some (even minor) issues Anastasia was always very responsive and we always witnessed immediate corrective actions taken with her involvement. To summarise, just like previous stays, we were highly satisfied with our recent stay in this resort and we will be looking forward to our next stays. Read less
