The hotel

Famous for the continuous white sand beach surrounding the entire island, Sun Siyam Iru Fushi is an idyllic setting for romantic and family trips alike. The 52 acre island allows for space and seclusion when you want it, but there are plenty of bars and restaurants with a great atmosphere and live music, when you’re ready for an upbeat evening. Sunset Horizon Water Villas are great for couples getaways – savour that Maldivan sunset each day from your private outdoor jacuzzi with a sundowner in hand, these are some of the most coveted accommodations on the island. If there’s a group of you, you might want to opt for a Pool Beach Villa, with ample space for outdoor drinks on the beachfront terrace and a dip in the private pool. And not forgetting, all villas come with a multilingual butler service! Where is it

Nestled within the Noonu Atoll, a group of unspoilt islands just a 45 minute seaplane journey north of Malé (remember to pack light for the seaplane transfer as luggage allowance is 20kg plus 5kg hand luggage, per person).

Board basis options

Half Board option includes: buffet breakfast at Iru Restaurant, and a 3-course dinner menu at either Trio, Flavours, Taste of India, or Bamboo, or buffet dinner at Iru Restaurant. You will also receive 50% discount (food only) at Islander's Grill for dinner.

Full Board option includes: the same meal options as the Half Board plan, with the addition of lunch at Bamboo, Reflections, or Fluid Bar. You will also receive 50% discount (food only) at Islander's Grill for lunch and dinner.

24-hour All Inclusive option includes: the same inclusions as the Full Board plan, with the addition of 50% discount on In-villa dining (food only) at lunch and dinner. Enjoy selected beverages in all operational bars and restaurants, one snack per person, per day at Waters Edge from 10:30am-6:30pm and 10.00pm - 6.30am, daily ice cream at La Cremeria, mini-bar with wine, beers, soft drinks, water, tea/coffee, and 4 coffee capsules, refilled once per day. All Inclusive of the following activities: stand up paddle boarding or kayaking (one hour per day, per villa). One local island experience excursion per person per stay. Deluxe Beach Villas with Pool are the same size and layout as the Deluxe Beach Villas, with the additional of a private pool stretching out onto the beach, with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults and 1 child, or 2 adults and 2 children.

Family Deluxe Beach Villas with Pool are larger in size, with a sliding door separating the bedroom and living area, as well as a private pool stretching out onto the beach, with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 4 adults and 1 child, or 2 adults and 3 children.

Pool Beach Villas feature a curved private pool with daybed and canopy, as well as a separate living area and bedroom with king-size bed, sleeping maximum 4 adults and 1 child, or 2 adults and 3 children.

Water Villas are perched above the lagoon on stilts, with steps leading straight into the ocean, and feature a glass viewing floor, private sun deck, and 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults and 1 child, or 2 adults and 2 children.

Horizon Water Villas are similar to Water Villas, with the addition of an outdoor jacuzzi on the deck with uninterrupted ocean views, with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults and 1 child, or 2 adults and 2 children.

Sunset Horizon Water Villas offers the same layout and features as the Horizon Water Villas, but are positioned for sunset views from the deck.

The holiday here was really amazing we loved everything about this island the view, the food and the service everything is great. thank you to the host Mouna, she is very attentive and efficiant, she helps us without any delay. I loved the snorkeling here as I saw many fish that I never seen before. I highly recommend this place

All staff are great but special thanks to Pratek. Indian: lovely food, great service from Jadeja. Even though India beat England in the cricket whilst we were here. Flavours: strangely the restaurant we didn't think we would like is the best! Lovely food and service (sorry, I'm not sure of names, but everyone there deserves a well done) Lots of fish and sharks to see in the water. Wine Cellar: This was an additional cost but a memorable evening that will go down as a favourite memory. No Mistake bar is quiet, but all staff there and Reflections pool bar are great. Thank you to Prince and everyone else. Snorkelling: It's good. There is the House reef and Nemo Reef. Saw lots of different fish. Sometimes, there are lots of fish, other times not so many. All staff at the diving centre are friendly and knowledgeable. Saw Turtles, rays, and fish from the over water bridges. Evening entertainment: Good but could be better. Same band every night. Sometimes busy but other times very quiet. We would have preferred more variety. Breakfast: Large variety of foods. Egg station serving pancakes, omelette, fried, boiled and scrambled egg. Islanders Grill: This restaurant is an additional cost. We didn't eat here but did pass by most days This restaurant is empty! Possibly due to out of season but it's a really lovely location and not many people seem to be paying. I understand the need to make money vut possibly look at appealing to more people. Paying to eat in an empty restaurant is not ideal. House Keeping: Thank you Saddam for all of your hard work and little treats. Music; There is music that is played repetively throughout the day, around the main bar, Islanders Grill, No Mistake and Reflections is awful! It plays the same three notes over and over. Iru fushi revitalised us ! We stayed 9 days and I could have stayed longer . The food the service the beaches , the spa were all spectacular . Our butler Ninh was fantastic and always present on txt or personally . All the buggy drivers , chefs , waiters were so polite and helpful . We had the pool beach villa which was lovely !
