The resort is located in front of one of the largest lagoons of Mauritius, Anse la Raie lagoon, and you can spend your days trying out the complimentary water sports, including glass bottom boat rides, or sail out on the resorts catamaran with daily full day excursions (at extra costs). There's also a luxurious spa (not forgetting the 3 swimming pools too) for those relaxing days. Either way, we guarantee you won't want to leave.

182 rooms. All with private terrace or balcony, air-conditioning, satellite TV, mini-bar, WiFi, hairdryer, and safe. Couple Rooms are 375 sq ft and are located amongst the gardens, with 1 double-size bed or twin beds, sleeping maximum 2 adults. All Inclusive of: breakfast in the main restaurant, Bénitier. Lunch at Bénitier, Taba-J and Coral. Dinner is on a dine-around basis and is applicable in 5 restaurants. A selection of local beverages including water, beer, tea/coffee, soft drinks, table wine, local alcohols and spirits. A selection of local drinks from the mini-bar. A selection of tea/coffee and snacks at the Bulk Shop. Afternoon tea from 3.30pm-6.00pm (self-service, pastries at the Coral bar and local goodies near the main pool). Local snacks served with evening drinks.

My husband has already written a review and typically forgot to mention a couple of staff that have given exemplary service. Firstly Nitish, who helped us book the hotel restaurants to ensure our needs were met as we were not fond of the buffet. Secondly the pastry Chef, Freddo who ensured that every night there was a lactose free desert for me, no matter which restaurant we were eating in. His creativity cannot be underestimated, from chocolate brownies to lemon crème brûlée, everyone was delicious. Finally, the cleaning staff, who kept are room clean but also made sure the bed was soft enough for us.

This was our second visit to this hotel. We had visited in 2022 when Covid restrictions were lifted. We were so impressed with how many of the staff remembered us and tried to do everything to make our second stay even better. The hotel caters to adults only and there is a great relaxing vibe throughout the hotel. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. There are plenty of sun-beds around the hotel . All the equipment is in good order. The gym, although small has up to date equipment in working order. The only older equipment is for use on the water. The laser has seen better days and the windsurf boards could do with renewal. However, do take the opportunity to go snorkeling on the reef using the glass bottomed boat that goes out twice a day. Akshay and all his team at Coral were superb. Himanshu, Usha, Jerome, Permal and Atif were very attentive; the service was excellent, always came with a smile and all made the effort to engage in conversation. The food produced by Chef Yuvraj, Freddo and Yashna was exceptional. We enjoyed the relaxed experience of tasting authentic Mauritian food at Kot Nou with Reena, Sachin, Akhilesh, Prince, Adiyta and we enjoyed chatting with Chef Tina and Chef Charesh about their wonderful food. Ratee in the main restaurant always greeted us with a smile and found time to chat. It was amazing to see Ganesha in the outside bar multi tasking and his cocktails were fantastic. Anique from housekeeping did a great job and I loved the animals she created each day with the towels. The younger members of the entertainment team (Lucas, Kheswar, Bradley) were great fun. At arrival Raja welcomed us personally and was kind enough to organise special experiences; the sunset cruise was a memorable end to our stay. He organised for us to keep our room until departure on our final day which meant we could relax until the end! If you haven't booked already, go and enjoy sun and fantastic service at this great hotel!

The staff. They’re simply amazing! My wife is lactose intolerant and we arrived tired and late and there was very little choice of food left in the buffet. However this was soon sorted and every day, we were catered for, the brilliant pastry chef (whose name I can’t recall) made a special desert for my wife every single day. I also need to single out a few others for their warmth and generosity, Rishee, the manager, who made sure our stay was wonderful and the staff that catered for us. Ganesha who had more energy than anyone I know. Always happy and always working. Ali who never seems to slow down. Reena for tirelessly checking on us and making sure we were catered for. Chef Outam for cooking us special food, that wasn’t on the menu at Kot Nui. And Mallar, Anilesh & Prince for serving us with such warmth and friendliness. There are many other staff that gave us such great service and they’re as a whole the most wonderful people with great generosity of spirit.
