We spent 8 magical days here. Every day we discovered more beauty in the hotel and its surroundings. The rooms are cozy, clean, and spacious enough. We had a double room with a sea view – and we never got tired of that view, even after 8 days. The room was cleaned daily, and we always received fresh towels and refilled water. We really appreciated the use of glass bottles (both still and sparkling water) instead of plastic ones. On the third day, we had a small issue with the bedside lamp. We stopped by the reception, and within minutes the lamp was fixed – great service! The food was absolutely top-notch. We had an All Inclusive package, and the breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner were all rich in variety. From chicken to fish and lamb – everything was delicious. There was a wide selection of side dishes, vegetables, fruits, desserts, and dips. We were pleasantly surprised by the always warm bread, thanks to the heat lamps. And the desserts were heavenly! One evening they even made fresh ice cream rolls right in front of us. We also really enjoyed the South African wine served. Every time we entered the restaurant, the staff greeted us and showed us to our table. Special thanks go to Hena (I hope I got the name right) from the Wave Bar – always smiling, kind, friendly, and funny. Thanks to Brian in Juice bar for fresh coconut and teaching how to prepare a coconut. The evening entertainment was high-quality. As a music teacher, I especially appreciated the choice of music groups – the best ones were Jukebox and Major Fifth. The hotel surroundings are very well maintained. Every day the sand on the beach was raked and leveled, the pools were cleaned, and the plants taken care of. There was always enough space to lie down on the beach, and we never had trouble finding a free sunbed. There are three pools at the hotel. It's just a pity that during the winter months on Mauritius (July) none of them are at least slightly heated. All in all, we highly recommend this hotel and would love to come back one day! Read less

We have recently stayed for an amazing 2 weeks here and had the most relaxing time. Arrival/Reception After a very long journey from the UK we were greeted from our taxi and our luggage taken off us, Matthieu checked us in and we were given a lovely refreshing cocktail and cold towel. Anytime we had to visit reception they were very helpful and welcoming. Food/Drinks The food was fantastic in all locations, the buffet offered a great variety of foods to choose from and it was great to see it change from day to day so it wasn't always the same. The 3 A la Carte restaurants were fantastic, Coral being our favourite choice for both lunch and dinner. The best dessert however was the sesame ice cream and matcha dessert at Lemongrass...it was to die for! ( pic included ) The cooking class at Kot Nou was a definite highlight. We had reserved some of the restaurants prior to arrival which I would recommend and Nitish was very helpful in doing this. We didn't have any issues booking the additional days whilst we were there too which was great. The cocktails were fabulous especially loved the passionfruit and the pineapple mojitios and Mai Tai. The house red wine was also delicious 😋 The Staff They are an absolute credit to the resort, we didn't come across any member of staff who didn't have a friendly face, they were all so kind, friendly and helpful. Special mentions though to Reena & Jonathan in Kot Nou they looked after us so well throughout our stay and were so kind. Coral staff including Arshay, Usha, Jerome, Permal and the chefs Sendile & Yurray were amazing also, they surprised us on 2 occasions with a celebration cake for both our 10 year anniversary and my birthday which was very special. The food in Coral was always fantastic and service was excellent. Activities/ Pool/Beach We spent the majority of our stay around the Coral pool as it was the quietest and felt the most relaxing. Akash at the bar was always fantastic in serving us with a big smile each and every time. The beach is very well kept and they work so hard to clean up the seaweed each morning. We tried to get onto the sunset cruise a few times but sadly due to high winds it didn't work out, we did however do the kayaking which was good fun. Room/Dogs Our holiday was incredible in so many ways and we would really recommend this resort, unfortunately though the only downside for us was our room location and we had a few issues. We had room 602 which was a ground floor poolside room by the main pool, not a great view but was well cleaned but the bathroom is pretty dated and could do with a refurb. We had a few days where the electricity kept going on and off and I did report it to reception who advised it was a general issue. The biggest issue with our room however was the rear of it had the dogs barking at 6am every morning like clockwork so it was very noisy. I would recommend asking for a poolside room by the Coral pool to try and avoid this. The dogs are no bother at all other than the early morning barking. We loved our stay and were so pleased to have chosen Lagoon Attitude, we are a same sex couple also and we felt very welcomed and safe here so thank you. Read less
