After a makeover in October 2023, the hotel re-opened as a spirited and luxury hotel, occupying a dream location overlooking a pristine stretch of beach washed by sparkling azure waters. It’s also home to one of the island’s largest swimming pools, take a dip or treat yourself to a fresh, low-fat ice cream packed with island fruits from the 'ici' vendors. You'll also find some quirky LUX* touches, such as their own blend of coffee roasted on site, a pop-up restaurant and Cinema Paradiso. LUX* Belle Mare offers a range of suites and private villas to tempt you, all beautifully designed. Upgrade to a Pool View Junior Suite overlooking the swimming pool or to a Wellness Junior Suite for wellness perks and spa discounts. Looking for a couples escape? The cocoon-like Ocean Suites are nice and private, or if you’re travelling with the children the Beach View Junior Suites are very spacious. It’s the little touches here that make all the difference, a British red phone box, for example, a novel way to call home! Exciting amenities include an impressive list of water sports with probably something new to try every day of your holiday. As for restaurants, you’ve several to choose from. 174 suites and 12 villas facing the sea. All with air-conditioning, 55” Interactive TV, media system, telephone, complimentary WiFi access, mini-bar*, Café LUX* coffee maker, tea-making facilities, safe, hairdryer, iron and board, bathrobes and slippers. Junior Suites are beach hut-style suites, located on the ground-second floor, with 1 king-size bed and a sofa bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 teens or 2 children or 1 infant.

Board basis options

Half Board option: includes breakfast at Mondo, and dinner at either Mondo or Beach Rough. Amari by Vineet and Duck Laundry are not included in the meal plan, but there is a 30% reduction on food available for guests.

Full Board option: includes breakfast at Mondo, and lunch and dinner at either Mondo, Royce Street or Beach Rouge. Amari by Vineet and Duck Laundry are not included in the meal plan, but there is a 30% reduction on food available for guests.

All-Inclusive option: includes

- Afternoon tea time, available at Cafe LUX*

- A wide selection of beverages (soft drinks, tea, coffee, beers, wines, juices, mineral water, cocktails and liquors) are available. Bar service “All inclusive” until 11:00pm

- Wellness (as per hotel schedule): Yoga & stretching classes, fitness centre, sauna, steam room, whirlpool and spa garden (mandatory reservation subject to availabilityat the Spa - adults only)

- Water sports (as per hotel schedule): Water skiing, glass bottom boat trips, snorkeling, windsurfing, kayaks, pedal boat, small catamaran, mini sailing as per weather and tide condition

“A Magnificent 9 night stay”

The most amazing holiday and hospitality at a wonderful resort. This was our second time visiting but this trip exceeding all expectations and was truly magnificent. Firstly the villas were perfect with a great sized heated pool and plenty of space. However what made the experience is the Villa Team - our Butlers were Rao and Benji and they truly could not have done enough for us. From the moment we arrived they looked after our needs and went above and beyond. Nothing was too much and everything done was with a big smile and a warm heart. We were celebrating my wife 40th and they both ensured she had a local day with plenty of surprises and lovely meal within the villa. Daily evening canapés and drinks delivered to the villa were a great touch! Staying in the villa is an absolute must. The private villa section of the beach was calm and peaceful and we were looked after so well by Girish. Having a reserved area on the beach was game changing as the resort was completely full and the beach and pools were always full on a first come first serve. So this is a big perk of being in a villa - reserved beach beds and private pool. A special mention to the 3 musketeers at the Lux Coffee Bar - Krissan, Yashvir and Bilal who made wonderful coffees and kept us entertained daily. They are a great trio and bring a lovely atmosphere to the start of the day! Now the Food - the resort has upped the standards completely since we last came. The buffet has been completely transformed and the quality of the food is exceptional. Having dined at top places all round the world, standards are high and the food experience blew me away. The buffet has great international variety and so much choice. The star however is Chef Singh - he cooked genuinely some of the best Indian food we have ever eaten (being Indian this is a if statement). Daily fresh curry and naan was irresistible. There is no need to go to Vineet - Chef Singhs food is better than any dish on the menu. Chef Singh made a wonderful meal for my wife’s birthday and we are truly grateful for this. Another shout out to Akshay and the team at the bar for creating a great atmosphere every evening. Overall a truly magnificent stay with exceptional staff, service, food and hospitality.

For my husband and I what stood out was the quality and variety of restaurants ,the friendly staff, the stylish decor of the room and lounge and reception areas. Our spa shiatsu massages were exceptional- with therapists Nufa and Cynthia. Sheila, the general manager is always on hand and attentive to all your needs. For us as a mature couple there were too many children (even though it was during term time) and not enough of a separate adult area to feel that you are away from the noisy pool fun. A very pleasant stay

For anyone thinking of visiting the hotel do, from the minute you arrive the colleagues cannot do enough to ensure you have a truly remarkable holiday. The whole resort is maintained to a high standard, the food choice is great with something for all tastes. The beach is so beautiful, white sand and clear water. I do feel the need to call out a few of the colleagues: Firstly Mahen - That super smile, cheery personality and can do attitude. The time and effort he put into decorating our villa for a Birthday was really appreciated. I especially enjoyed our chats about the management course you are undertaking and I am sure you will go far, I look forward to following your journey when I visit again. Kumar - Always super helpful and willing to go the extra mile. Ali - Our villa was beautifully maintained and cleaned every day, nothing was ever too much trouble. Girish - Every day would have our beds ready for us on the beach, super attentive ensuring we always had a drink. A really chatty and helpful young man. What also impressed me was seeing the manager everyday walking the hotel resort checking everything was just so. I think the most positive action that demonstrates how much i have enjoyed this holiday (hotel/resort) is the fact i have already booked to come back in March next year and am already counting the days.
