The LUX* Me Spa is a true haven, offering a range of indulgent treatments as well as yoga and dynamic exercise classes. Dining-wise, you’ll be spoilt for choice, with delicious island-inspired and international dishes. Chat to the chef and watch your meal being created at The Palm Court, savour the cultures of Peru at INTI and visit Under the Banyan for mouthwatering burgers, wood-smoked meats and inventive cocktails at the French Kiss Bar.

“An extra ordinary experience at lux grand gaube!”

I had an abosolutely wonderful stay at lux grand gaube and it truly exceeded my expectations in everyway. From the beautiful beachfront views to the peaceful atmosphere, everything about this resort feels like paradise. One of the highlights of my stay was my daily visit to the coffee shop where i encountered tisha , the coffee girl who made my every coffee experience memorable. Not only does she makes excellent coffee but her warm personality and kindness really stood up. Its rare to find someone who adds such a personal touch to your day. Overall my experience at lux grand gaube was unforgettable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing place. Cant wait to be back!

Amazing place, suggestion to take all inclusive packages for best experience. All restaurants are beautiful and have carefully crafted dishes. They also have a coffee kiosk and Chetan was amazing staff helped us getting great frappes.

“Luxury hotel, but unacceptable lack of customer care”

The overall level of service and facilities is in line with what you would expect from a hotel in this price range — everything is well maintained and the general experience reflects the premium positioning. However, this is exactly why my final evaluation is so negative. Before my stay, I made a mistake with my booking dates and contacted the hotel several weeks in advance to request a simple adjustment. Despite this, the property showed no flexibility at all. I ended up paying for two full nights that I did not use, without any attempt from the hotel to offer a reasonable solution — not even partially (such as removing one night, offering a voucher, or any alternative gesture). In a hotel of this level, I expect customer care to go beyond strict policies. Instead, what I experienced was a lack of understanding and willingness to help, which is frankly unacceptable in such a luxury environment. It felt as if the situation was handled purely in the hotel’s favor, rather than with any real attention to the guest. Additionally, I found the experience for children quite disappointing. There were no engaging evening activities for kids aged 8–10, and they were not actively involved or entertained, which is something I would definitely expect at this level. As a minor but still surprising point, we also noticed the presence of small mice in some areas of the resort, which was unexpected in a property of this standard. This overall lack of care significantly impacted my perception, and unfortunately nothing during the stay was able to compensate for it. That said, I would like to mention that some staff members were genuinely kind and professional, in particular Akshay at the restaurant and the therapist Marie Pierette, who stood out for their courtesy and service. Overall, while the structure itself meets expectations, the customer experience falls far below what should be expected from a hotel of this standard, and I would not recommend it.
