Head to The Bar for cocktails and live music, or while away the hours in East, feasting on delicious Thai cuisine. Set right beside the ocean, The Beach is also highly recommended, serving up Italian fare in a relaxed setting.

“Fabulous location, fabulous staff, fabulous food...”

Just had a fabulous holiday at Lux* Le Morne with my husband and two sons. We were attracted by its location - between Le Morne mountain and the beach with its protected reef. It did not disappoint! The resort is very attractive, with three beautiful swimming pools, the gardens well kept with many flowers, palm trees and so many birds, which gave the feeling of being in an aviary. We loved the simple stylish decor of our room, and the comfy beds with gorgeous bed linen. We were very well looked after by Sangeeta, a lovely, helpful, kind hearted, woman, who made sure everything was perfect in our room. Lux has a number of creative touches within the resort... a tree house which you can book for a private meal, a tree to hang wishes on, an open air cinema, outside marshmallow toasting, a swimming pool bar with an ice cream parlour and a pretty vegetable garden. A breakfast buffet was served in the main restaurant with astounding quality and variety, everything from a full english breakfast, pancakes, a full bakery range , continental ham and cheeses, far eastern foods, to the very healthy, a wide range of fruit, detox waters, ingredients for protein shakes, and a range of delicious gluten free breads and cupcakes. The head chef Saurabh told me that they make nearly all the foods eg the super delicious granola, the yogurts and a coconut jam! The evening buffet was equally amazing of different choices, however there are three other wonderful restaurants to eat at, if you prefer to be waited upon, two of which have lovely sea views. At The Beach restaurant you can sit at a table with your feet in the sand! What truly made the resort a joy to stay at was the helpfulness, thoughtfulness and humour from the staff. Satish, the restaurant manager had such a kindly mischievous approach! Vaishivi, a chef was so kind to me, providing me with beautiful plates of fruit. Alonso an extremely smiley young man had interesting conversations with my family on football! Valerie, Alain and Sakeenah were a delight to be served by. A shout out to Christelle, the unflappable morning egg chef! Terence at the swimming pool shared great knowledge on the local wildlife. At the front desk, Aitiki had patience of a saint and Honsun helped to find a missing passport! All the staff at the boat house were great and had a huge sense of humour, making sure that while kayaking we were not swept to Madagascar! While I have mentioned some names, there were many others who were charming and ever so helpful. Whatever the management is doing to select their staff and to motivate, it works! In summary what a totally wonderful place to stay. We didn't want to leave and we really hope to return one day soon.

That sounds wonderful. Lux* Morne has a way of slowing everything down — the quiet, the space, the rhythm of the place. We come for a deluxe at le morne beach and we have meganne and brandon as our waiter which we’re very kind and attentive..it was the best moment with them The pool was very clean and the environment..Food was excellent..Hope see you next time
