“It's good, it's sadly not great”

So many amazing things to say about this place. Staff, location, rooms (inside), food all great. But I would hope so for the price. We knew what we were getting into when you pay for a premium hotel so you hope it delivers. And it did. Why not five stars? It’s part of a wider gripe I have with top end hotels. I’ve already paid a ton of money to come here so charging me £5 for a small cola and £25 for a sandwich at lunchtime is pure profiteering. The argument is that I should upgrade to a full board package (still no drinks) or all-inclusive (but I don’t drink alcohol so I’m never going to be able to justify that). Also full board and all inclusive seem to bring out the worst in people in terms of consumption. I’ve paid for it so I’m gonna consume it. And to give you tea and coffee facilities in your room but not include milk for free (it is part of the all inclusive) is petty beyond belief. I get free milk in budget hotels! You can see what the listed room prices are. You can see guests are already paying a ton of money to be there. Don’t give them a feeling of being exploited. Also if you book a Jr Suite avoid room sixteen. It’s terrace is clearly the worst in the hotel. We never sat there once. The view of a wall was not exactly in the brochure. And I am not sure what is the other side of the wall but on one night they had a full party with sound system that carried on beyond 2am. So loud you could feel it. And as the room was shoved in the corner of the plot surrounded by trees the outdoor shower was more like a compost area very uninviting with leaves and debris covering it. Nature at its best, capitalism at its worst.

Amazing hotel. Idyllic location. Stayed in Ocean Junior Suite right on the beach. Gorgeous views. Helpful, friendly and courteous staff who just could not do enough to make our holiday special. Relaxed vibe. Good choice of water based activities. All inclusive package had a great choice of food and drinks.
