We stayed at Preskil for 2 nights as a family, and it was truly a wonderful escape. Being Mauritian and total foodies, we were amazed by the buffet... the variety was impressive and everything was delicious. We left every meal completely full and satisfied! Tea time was another highlight with tasty cakes, fritters, and pancakes.
Service at the restaurant was exceptional, especially thanks to Kesheenee, who was incredibly welcoming and attentive. She recommended the Cape Bay sparkling wine (highly recommended!), and what really touched us was her thoughtfulness... she offered to keep our bottle (since it was sparkling wine) for the next day and even had the it ready for us without us needing to ask.
The cocktails were excellent too, both in quality and portion, and the snacks at the Medley Bar were equally enjoyable. Thank you to Kingston and the small, quick young man at the bar, their service was fast and friendly.
I also had the chance to visit the spa. While the massage itself was relaxing and relieved all my stress (thank you, Claide!), I did wait around 15 minutes beforehand, which made me feel a bit anxious. I believe the spa reception team be more empathetic ans welcoming to guests.
We also enjoyed the beach activities, especially the tube ride.. what an adrenaline rush, yet completely safe! A must-try experience.
Overall, I would rate our stay 4.5 out of 5. There are just a few areas for improvement, like the pre massage experience, consistency in room service, like refilling water bottles, replacing towels, and ensuring the minibar stays cold. Just sharing for continuous improvement..
Apart from that, it was a beautiful and refreshing break for our family. We look forward to coming again!
