The beach here is bounded by two reefs, an inner one that gives the hotel's swimming beach privacy and an outer reef where there’s a selection of complimentary water sports on offer. Enjoy the translucent, calm lagoon and keep a watch from the terrace for the dolphins that come into the bay. When it comes to dining, there's the main Tamarind Terrace restaurant, the intimate Pink Peppercorn on the beach terrace, and Spices, with its refined indoor dining room or more casual outdoor terrace. On a beautiful white-sand beach on the west coast of Mauritius overlooking the Bay of Tamarin with the majestic Le Morne Mountain as a backdrop. Near the town of Flic en Flac, with its shops, bars and restaurants. Transfer time from Mauritius International Airport: approximately 1 hour 15 minutes. Please note that if taking a seat in coach this may be longer depending on how many hotel stops are en route.

All suites with sea facing balcony or terrace, air-conditioning, satellite TV, WiFi, iron and board (on request), mini-bar*, safe, hairdryer, tea/coffee-making facilities, walk-in wardrobe, bathroom with separate bath and shower. Superior Suites are on the 1st and 2nd floors with remarkable lagoon views, and have 1 king-size bed or twin beds, sleeping maximum 3 adults.

Half Board includes: Breakfast and dinner in the main restaurant, Tamarind Terrace. Guests can also dine around at the other two restaurants at Sands and a further four restaurants at sister resort Maradiva Villas Resort & Spa with a credit towards the bill. Reservations may be required.

Location is incredible, staff was available every single moment. Hotel is super comfortable and with amazing infrastructure. Rooms are huge and all have ocean view. Value was incredible as you get breakfast and dinner included. Hotel is adult only and it’s always calm and no noise - perfect to relax. Rooms are always super clean, with service twice a day. Pool is heated and you have service everywhere including in the private beach. They have several free water activities such as water skiing, snorkel, standup paddle etc as well.

Me my wife, daughter and her boyfriend stayed for 6 nights at Sands suites resort and spa in Flic en Flac. Our stay was amazing, all the staff were very friendly and attentive, Krishna front office manager along with all his staff was amazing, Selvan , restaurant manager and everyone within the restaurant were accommodating and hard working, food was always good and plenty of choice. Nathaneal, Logan, in the bar along with all the other staff too many people to remember, Ruddy, Ivan, vicky all pool attendants who really look after you and not to forget the DJ , Win We cannot fault this hotel and all its employees 10/10 Terry Uk
