“care for guests as relatives”

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at the hotel! From the very first moment, I felt taken care of — the butler’s attention Tej to detail and genuine care made the experience truly special. He was always ready to help and went the extra mile to make sure every need was met. The hotel grounds are beautifully maintained — everything looks pristine and is arranged with such care that it’s a pleasure just to walk around the property. A real highlight of the stay was the Indian restaurant. The cuisine is outstanding — rich, flavorful, and authentic. Lumb with safran rice is wonderful, as well as baklava . The restaurant staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, offering great recommendations and making the dining experience even more enjoyable, especially Lucinda, thank her for provide us the best passion fruit juice. Overall, this hotel offers exceptional service and a luxurious atmosphere. I’d definitely come back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable stay!

“An Unforgettable Return to Paradise – Our Second Stay Exceeded All Expectations!”

We returned to the St. Regis Le Morne resort after quite some time, and we’re happy to say that our second stay was even more amazing than the first. Ten nights at this gorgeous resort flew by, and all of us—including our children—left with heavy hearts, sad that this fairytale vacation had come to an end. The entire resort is absolutely breathtaking, and the combination of the world-class St. Regis brand with exclusive special events makes this place an unforgettable experience. From the very first moment to the very last, we felt right at home. What we truly appreciate—and haven’t experienced to this extent anywhere else—is the staff here. Everyone we met was incredibly warm, accommodating, and genuinely eager to help. There’s an atmosphere of kindness and warmth here that never feels forced—it comes straight from the heart. These wonderful people deserve a special thank you: Manisha from breakfast—always smiling, kind, and helpful. She took great care of us and even made sure we had our favorite jams, which was never a problem for her. Ghirish (our butler) – did a fantastic job. He went above and beyond to fulfill our every wish, and we are immensely grateful for his warm and professional approach. Mr. Riad (Head of Butlers) – a big thank you for his personal touch, care, and kindness during our stay. Mr. Gilles (Director of Rooms) – was absolutely wonderful. We really appreciate that, as a member of management, he mingles with guests, takes an interest in their opinions, enjoys striking up conversations himself, and recommends great places. His entire approach was incredibly personal and extremely pleasant. What’s more, his rapport with the children was amazing—the kids literally adored him! The Kite Flyers Club Kids' Club Team – The entire team at the kids' club also deserves great praise and thanks. The activities the children took part in were absolutely fantastic, and the kids had a tremendous time every single time. We thank the entire St. Regis team from the bottom of our hearts; we felt right at home with you, surrounded by care, and made wonderful memories. “Mauritian Hospitality at Its Best (Hotel + Baby Sitter Review)”

Set on what is arguably the island's most spectacular stretch of beach and Le Morne rising dramatically in the background. The location is so ridiculously beautiful that within about 24 hours we'd completely forgotten what day of the week it was (which, in our book, is always a good sign). What really set the hotel apart for us though was the staff. Every single person we met was warm, welcoming and genuinely eager to help. There is a kindness here that never feels rehearsed, just effortlessly Mauritian. Our stay wasn't entirely without a few service hiccups (no holiday ever is), but they were handled beautifully. Every concern was taken seriously, and the team consistently went above and beyond to make things right. It's easy to deliver great service when everything goes according to plan; it's much harder when it doesn't, and this is where the team really excelled. Travelling with a four-month-old means your definition of luxury changes slightly. We had initially wondered whether we'd regret not staying in one of the beachfront suites, but the room in the main building turned out to be the perfect choice. Everything was close by, making life considerably easier without feeling like we'd compromised on the experience. And finally, Laxmi. The hotel recommended her as a babysitter, and by the end of the week we were half-considering asking if she came home with the room rate. She looked after our four-month-old son, Basile, with extraordinary kindness and care, instinctively respected his routine, anticipated what we needed before we even asked, and somehow managed to make all three of us feel looked after. Leaving your baby with someone you've only just met is never easy, but she earned our trust almost immediately. Saying goodbye was genuinely difficult. We arrived in desperate need of a proper reset and left feeling lighter, better rested, and exceptionally well looked after. That's probably the highest compliment we can give any hotel!
