We had booked the trip through Indcen travel agency, and I didn’t have particularly high expectations for the hotel – but oh, what a lovely surprise! A beautiful, clean place with friendly people and absolutely top-notch service. Our housekeeper made amazing towel creations every day, and the fridge was restocked with water, juice, beer and Coca-Cola. In my opinion, the hotel deserves more than just three stars plus – it has everything you could need! Tasty food, stunning surroundings, a beautiful beach with wonderful sun loungers and parasols – plus kayaks, snorkelling trips and more. We’re absolutely thrilled and would love to come back! We spent 8 unforgettable nights here for our honeymoon, and it truly felt like a home away from home. The staff are absolutely excellent – always friendly, attentive, and eager to help. The food was delicious, with a variety of options, and the beach is simply incredible – pristine, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing or trying out some water activities. We highly recommend going for the all-inclusive package – it’s well worth it! Our room was amazing: clean, spacious, and well-equipped with air conditioning, which was a blessing. You’ll never go hungry or thirsty here – they even offer snacks between breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There are plenty of activities available on the beach, but the pool area is also great for just chilling out. We also went on an excursion to Veranda Paul et Virginie and Veranda Grand Baie. The hotel helped us arrange everything ext for the rental car, and since they’re part of the same group, the all-inclusive benefits carried over to those resorts too. It was nice to explore, but we found ourselves eager to return “home” to our hotel – that says a lot. The resort itself is lovely and the amenities are solid, but what really makes this place special is the incredible staff. And beyond the resort, the Mauritian people in general are so warm and welcoming – it made our entire trip even more special. Highly recommend this resort, especially for families or group getaways! The hotel is lovely, the room was great and the front of house staff were very friendly, especially Zuu. The chambermaid did a great job. The beach is lovely and the swimming area is cordoned off due to the speed boats etc. The restaurant never opened on time and the food was very repetitive. The taxi driver used by the hotel is twice as expensive as other taxis you can hire down the road. There is a distinct lack of bar staff and talking to other guests it was the same complaint as what staff there are make cocktails, coffees and wash up as well as make basic drinks, so if you just want a coke or a beer you have to wait. Some bar staff were friendly when you get to know them but in general they were surly and obviously didn't want to be there. There is entertainment in the evening and I would advise all guests to ask for a room nearer to the beach as it can get very noisy if you want an early night. It was four star when we booked but was downgraded to three star by the time we arrived. I can see why. Would I visit again? Probably not. Read less
