“Great hotel with amazing location”

Amazing hotel with a wonderful location. Everyone at the hotel was extremely accommodating, especially the front desk manager Ahmed and Chris, at the breakfast buffet. Unbelievable gym with every equipment you can imagine! Rooms were small, but had everything. Will definitely come back.

“Total letdown”

Very deceptive. For starters, all the hotels/apartment rentals in Al Ula cost twice what they should. If you accept that you might be a bit less disappointed when you arrive at the hotel and see the small room you are getting for your money. Second, the hotel's photos give you the impression that you are in middle of the mountains in some remote location. Totally false. You are in town (admittedly on the edge) next to a hospital. Moreover, you are a 15 minute drive from the old town, so not even near the interesting parts of Al Ula, so worst of both worlds. My advice would be to either stay in an apartment (preferably more central) and save some money, or blow the budget and stay in the one of the high end resorts near Hegra. At least there you will have a unique experience.

“Memorable Stay At Cloud 7”

Cloud 7 is a large complex. Our suite was a comfortable attangrment consisting of a living room, middle room with bath on one side and prep kitchen on the other with the third area the bedroom. One evening, since the dining room was not too busy, the staff offered us a special 5 course dinner which turned out to be our most memorable dining experience in Saudi. We started with mushroom soup, topped with truffle purée, followed by a lovely composed salad, then a large prawn on a bed of risotto, then tenderloin and finally pavpova. Thanks to Amhed for suggesting, Rohm who oversaw all, and the chef and staff.
