“Memorable Stay At Cloud 7”

Cloud 7 is a large complex. Our suite was a comfortable attangrment consisting of a living room, middle room with bath on one side and prep kitchen on the other with the third area the bedroom. One evening, since the dining room was not too busy, the staff offered us a special 5 course dinner which turned out to be our most memorable dining experience in Saudi. We started with mushroom soup, topped with truffle purée, followed by a lovely composed salad, then a large prawn on a bed of risotto, then tenderloin and finally pavpova. Thanks to Amhed for suggesting, Rohm who oversaw all, and the chef and staff.

I had high expectations considering the price paid and the reviews but unfortunately the experience was terrible. I had book through their website a "summer" option that included flexible check in and check out, welcome drink, discount on another hotel spa and restaurant, free ice cream. No one at the reception was aware of it or could give me clear information about that, they just confirmed that they could see the promotion was booked but they were fully booked so no flexible check in/out was possible and they had no icecream. I had to negotiate a bit with the restaurant and in the end they gave me a smoothie with a small dessert. The only nice staff I found was the one at breakfast time, for the rest (pool and so on) they apper only to ask you to order but when you need a towel or information no one is around. The service not worth the price. I would have paid 1/3 of the price given the quality. The rooms are nice and clean but not worth the money overall. Also the picture don't reflect the reality of the residence.

“Amazing AlUla hotel”

As part of our Saudi experience we visited AlUla and stayed at Cloud7. From lunch on arrival, we mentioned my wife’s gluten issues. The staff from there forward, ( we were half board) utterly excelled in their attentiveness to our dietary needs. A big shout out to all. Especially Ram, Hilsa and their teams including Nawaf, Kathy,Steffi, Richard and Amresh, the amazing pastry chef. Apologies to any we have missed. Their consideration of my wife’s requirements really made for a superb dining experience in this beautiful complex. The accommodation was excellent and met our every need. We highly recommend Cloud7 for an AlUla stay.
