I can’t express how much I enjoyed staying at Shirvan in Jeddah. The decor, the location, the vibe of the place the location and most importantly Mashary at the front desk who was super helpful super welcoming and we cant thank him enough!

I recently stayed at Shirvan Hotel in Jeddah for a four-day business trip and had a highly unsatisfactory experience due to a serious billing error. Despite paying for my stay in advance, the hotel double-charged my corporate card. While I understand mistakes can happen, the hotel's handling of this issue has been extremely unprofessional. I was initially promised a refund within four days, but as of today (July 4th), I still have not received my money—over a month later. Despite multiple follow-ups via calls and messages, the hotel provided only empty assurances. Later, they informed me they could not process the refund to the original card and requested an alternative, yet failed to communicate this promptly. The lack of urgency, poor communication, and disregard for guest concerns are unacceptable. Had I not persistently followed up, I doubt this would have been resolved at all. To date, the refund has not been issued, and I have wasted significant time and effort due to their negligence. I strongly advise against staying here if you expect reliable service or professionalism. There are far better hotels in Jeddah that value their guests' time and money. أقمت مؤخرًا في فندق شيروان بجدة في رحلة عمل لمدة أربعة أيام، وكانت تجربتي سيئة للغاية بسبب خطأ فادح في الفاتورة. على الرغم من دفعي ثمن إقامتي مقدمًا، قام الفندق بخصم مبلغ مضاعف من بطاقة الشركة الخاصة بي. مع أنني أُدرك أن الأخطاء واردة، إلا أن تعامل الفندق مع هذه المشكلة كان غير احترافي للغاية. وُعدتُ في البداية باسترداد أموالي خلال أربعة أيام، ولكن حتى اليوم (4 يوليو)، لم أستلم أموالي بعد - بعد أكثر من شهر. ورغم محاولات المتابعة المتكررة عبر المكالمات والرسائل، لم يُقدم الفندق سوى وعود فارغة. لاحقًا، أبلغوني أنهم لا يستطيعون معالجة عملية استرداد الأموال على البطاقة الأصلية وطلبوا بديلًا، لكنهم لم يُبلغوني بذلك على الفور. إن عدم الإلحاح، وسوء التواصل، وتجاهل مخاوف النزلاء أمور غير مقبولة. لو لم أتابع الأمر بإصرار، لأشك في أن المشكلة كانت ستُحل على الإطلاق. حتى الآن، لم يُرد المبلغ، وقد أهدرت الكثير من الوقت والجهد بسبب إهمالهم. أنصح بشدة بعدم الإقامة هنا إذا كنت تتوقع خدمة موثوقة أو احترافية. هناك فنادق أفضل بكثير في جدة تُقدّر وقت وأموال ضيوفها. Extremely and pleasantly surprised with the Shirvan Hotel in Jeddah. I just checked out after a two night stay on a business trip. Had a great corner room with floor to ceiling windows and a balcony - lots of natural light. Great bathroom, everything worked well. The decor has an authentic boutique feel, check-in and out was efficient. The gym is small but has all the kit one needs, also peeped at the sauna, steam room and it looked spotless. This will for sure become my new go-to hotel in Jeddah. Breakfast is great and there are a few restaurants in the courtyard next to the hotel. Great place overall Read less

Overall below average experience, for a 5-star hotel to be honest. Front desk and doorman were nice, but employees response to service requests were surprisingly slow. We booked a 2-bed room and when we walked into our room, we saw two twin beds were merged together into a larger one bed, so we called the front desk to send someone to fix this. They promised to come over in 30 minutes, but we waited for over 1 hour. No one showed up. Then my friend went downstairs to ask them again in person, and it turned out that the front desk didn’t bring it up to the room service people at all ! Next morning, we requested housekeeping and someone came over at around 10 am, as we were dressing up for a city tour. We told him to come back one hour later, and he said yes. A few hours later, as we came back from the city tour, expecting a clean room to take a quick nap before going out for dinner— no one came to clean the room at all! We were exhausted and didn’t want someone to clean the room while we are in the room, so we just ate it up and didn’t call again. Lastly, as we are checking out, I was craving for a cup of tea, so I flipped an unused mug and guess what, I see some beautiful coffee stains remaining at the bottom of the mug. If I was going to rate this hotel a 4 star before this, now they only deserve a 2 star. I cannot tolerate that a 5 star hotel unable to do the bare minimum for clients. That’s all. I will never come back to stay at your hotel again, and I will let my friends and family who travel to Jeddah in the future to avoid this hotel. Read less
