The hotel

Mazaj is probably the finest Lebanese restaurant in Abu Dhabi, serving everything from mezze to kebabs to tapas or feast on sumptuous buffet fare at CuiScene, which also hosts theme nights and the famous Fairmont Saturday Brunch.

369 rooms and suites. All with air-conditioning, LCD TV, telephone, WiFi access, mini-bar*, tea/coffee maker, safe, hairdryer, iron and board. Fairmont Rooms with 1 king-size bed or 2 queen beds, sleeping maximum 2 adults and 1 child under 12 years.

Half Board option: includes breakfast at CuiScene restaurant, including free-flow tea, coffee, water and juices (6:30-10:30am only). Lunch or dinner - international buffet at CuiScene restaurant (exclusive of beverages; 12:00-3:00pm for lunch or 7:00-11:00pm for dinner), or 3-course set menu at Marco’s Italian (12:00-3:00pm for lunch or 6:00-11:00pm for dinner) or Mazaj Bab Al Bahr (12:00-3:00pm for lunch or 6:00-11:00pm for dinner). Reservations are required, subject to availability.

Full Board option: includes lunch and dinner (except Fridays). Beverages are not included and will be charged separately to the guest bill.

Should guests wish to dine in any other outlets (Marco’s Italian, Mazaj Bab Al Bahr, Marco Pierre White Steakhouse & Grill and Café Sushi) a credit will be issued towards their final bill.

My husband and I stayed at Fairmont Bab Al Bahr in Abu Dhabi for 5 nights to celebrate our anniversary—and honestly, it was amazing from the moment we arrived. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. A special shout-out to Reem, the Guest Relations Supervisor, who really made our stay extra special. She arranged a stunning sea view room upgrade and surprised us with cakes and fruit platters more than once—such thoughtful touches! Big thank you as well to Leah, our housekeeper, who kept our room spotless every day. It’s those little things that make all the difference. The hotel itself is beautiful—super clean, well maintained, and full of charm. We used the gym daily (it had everything and more), and the breakfast buffet was unreal—so much variety, fresh and tasty. We also had an amazing dinner at Marco’s restaurant—great atmosphere and delicious food. We both agreed this is probably one of the best places we’ve stayed. I’ve been meaning to review this hotel for a while now as we visited in April for 7 nights. We loved the pool area and beach. There were plenty of sunbeds to choose from and it was lovely that the pools were nice and warm too. There was a very shallow kids pool under cover in addition to the main pool. The beach was gorgeous. Wonderful view of the mosque and the sand was pristine. The canal was shallow so suitable for young children to play in. The room was huge and well appointed. There were 2 queen beds and they gave us a roll away bed for our other child. We didn’t hear the rooms next to us as the sound proofing was very good. The breakfast was a delight, all the food was great quality. Plenty of fruit, yoghurt, all eggs were made to order which was brilliant. Lots of carrot waffle, pancakes and french toast. Plus lots of local food and delicious curries. The Fairmont is located 20 mins drive from Warner Bros and Sea world both of which were fabulous. The guys outside the hotel would get you a taxi in seconds and taxis in Abu Dhabi were always plentiful and very cheap. There is a supermarket (Zenith) next to the hotel which is very cheap and well stocked for soft drinks. We used the gym multiple times whilst we were there and that was of very high quality. Every machine you would ever need was there. Only niggle is that I feel the playground needs upgrading as once the children have exhausted the beach/pool there’s not much for them to do. In saying that they briefly went into the kids club which had soft play, basketball hoops etc. as this shut at 5pm it would be good to access that past 5pm with parental supervision I would highly recommend this hotel and if we visit Abu Dhabi again I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here. Rameez is the best at cleaning my room and Leah is really kind and helpful and Mike bellman is the best he help me when I need help I’m reviewing them a 5 stars they also helped me so much and I thank them for it and I hope that there more of them at hotel or any place
